Hilarious Design, Durable Material, and Endless Entertainment

I recently purchased the Fisher Price Newborn Toys Rattle 'N Rock Maracas for my 4-month-old baby, and let me tell you, these things are a hoot! These colorful maracas come in a set of two - one blue and one orange - and are the perfect size for little hands to grasp and shake. First of all, the design of these maracas is just hilarious. They look like a cross between a giant pill capsule and a cartoon character's nose. I couldn't stop giggling when I first pulled them out of the box. But my baby didn't seem to care about the appearance - he was immediately drawn to the bright colors and started shaking them with all his might. One of the best features of these maracas is the soft, squishy material they're made of. They're like little stress balls with jingle bells inside. So not only can my baby shake them for a fun noise, he can also chew on them to his heart's content without hurting his gums. And believe me, he has been putting them to the test - these maracas have been drooled on, chewed on, and thrown across the room, and they're still holding up strong. But the real comedy gold came when my husband got in on the maraca-shaking action. He thought it would be funny to do a little dance with the maracas, and before we knew it, we were all laughing hysterically as he twirled around the room like a crazed carnival performer. Safe for very littles!

I bought these for the infant I care for. He’s just learning to hold things and has very little control of his arm movements. I was afraid of getting a typical rattle because he may smack himself in the head with it. These have the very soft, pillow-like ball on one end that won’t hurt if he hits his face with it. It has a rattle on the other end that is quite thick and may or may not be used for teething. It’s not a loud annoying rattle either, it’s a softer sound because of the thick plastic and larger balls inside. I’d definitely recommend this to parents with a very young baby.

Fun toy for 6 month old

We bought this for my 6 month old daughter and she enjoys it. I think she is more interested in the tag but hey, whatever works! She can hold it well and she loves chewing on it.

The perfect sensor toy rattle for infants

These maracas are a perfect toy rattle for small babies because of it’s sensory factors. This very colorful rattle is attractive to inquisitive small children. The slim center is easy for an infant to grasp and hold onto. And since babies tend to get their hands flying about at random, that can cause the rattle to make sounds which draws the babies attention to its rattly noise. They’re also designed with nubbies on one end which will stimulate their sense of feel; and a ball at the opposite end that turns in it’s situated position which can stimulate dexterity as well. These are a nice “teething agent” during those irritating times! Babies bring everything to their mouth since they have an automatic sucking reflex. When their teeth begin to come in they do a lot of putting things to their mouth which helps to soothe their gums. So these maracas are a perfect baby shower gift, Christmas gift for the infant, or just as a toy purchased for any new parent! I purchased this very reasonably-priced Learning toy for my new grand baby and it was money well-spent!!
