It actually works!

We have extremely hard water and when we moved in the dishwasher was completely covered with white hardwater residue. I thought it must be really old and would need replacement. At first I tried another brand of tablets and so no improvement. However after just one run with this cleaner pretty much 100% of the surface area exposed while the dishwasher was running came out sparkling clean. It surpassed all my expectations. My only regret was not getting a before picture to show how much it really did. I am not running it every couple of months to keep the dishwasher clean and in working order.

Yes!, Yes!, Yes!

Have a 3 yr old Kitchen-Aid Dish washer(2019). Since installation I've not done anything but a "Sani-Rinse" a few times. Always checked the Filter Canister ea month and the Screen every other. Have had no issues until the fall of 2022. Found that the Filter Canister had a Cinnamon colored gunk all over it after EVERY washing! I kept cleaning, only to see same Gunk as well as an Odor remaining after wash. Dishes and whatnot did NOT have an Odor, the machine did. 140°F Sani-washing changed nothing. So, some research, reviews and gave this a go. HOME RUN! After the FIRST use, No more Gunk, or Odor! Wash after Wash, Filter is okay, No Odor! Turns out the EPA yrs ago disallowed the use of any Phosphates in Dishwasher detergents. The Phosphates would keep the Mach. clean throughout. It's the water pathways that you CAN'T see/get to, that's causing the Odor. So, it turns out that the right quantity of Citric Acid does the Trick! Be sure to read the directions! You MUST remove the plastic peel from the Cap, leaving the Cap alone! Place cleaner upside down on the BOTTOM rack! Then, with machine empty, run the High Temp.(140°F), Sani-Rinse cycle,(mine took 3hrs). Abracadabra! No more Odor! Am placing on Amazon Auto Del. Will use once/mo. at $4 , it's so worth it.

Amazing!

We have very hard water and it leaves a limescale buildup. This not only left the dishwasher clean and sparkly, it removed the white limescale that had built up on the heating element. I have tried vinegar in the dishwasher, special powders, scrubbing but nothing worked! I have used this twice now and the second time was even better. I will be using monthly.

Works effectively, but left a very strong scent

I love this little cleanser and it scrubs my dishwasher very well. Within a wash cycle, the heating coil, water stains and other impurities are gone effectively. So kudos to the functionality. However, it left a very strong chemical scent which I dislike. I use free and clear gels for my regular wash because I really hate the strong scent left from the wash pods. If there is a way to imporve such annoying fact, definitely a feature request to the maker. Overall, I recommend this product and would still use it. After all, I could run another quick rinse cycle to get rid of the smell quickly (with some water waste....)

Simple, Easy, and it Works

I get this auto-delivered every six months and use it immediately. No work on your part and it really does clean every bit of your dishwasher. If you've never used something like this, get a flashlight and stick your head way back inside your dishwasher and look around. I did that years ago and have been using these since then.

Great Cleaning Aid

It’s so important to actually wash your dishwasher! I use these every three months in my dishwasher on the hot deep clean cycle. To keep up on cleaning I use the cheaper cleaning tabs from Finish once a month. This product does a good job of getting the inside of the dishwasher to shine again and it smells significantly better after the cycle finishes. To be honest, the scent it gives off while cleaning the dishwasher is not pleasant. Has a chemical smell to it, as soon as the cycle ends and you open the dishwasher to help air dry it isn’t the best. If you can handle it, once the dishwasher is clean and dry, it smells 10x better. I also remove my filter in the bottom of the dishwasher and clean it in tandem when I use these packs. Small particles get caught in the filter and cause mold and smell awful. Using this product and soaking/cleaning the filter with vinegar every three months keeps my dishwasher smelling great and it cleans all of my dishes well!

Removed calcium buildup in our GE dishwasher

We had calcium buildup in our GE dishwasher. The racks were difficult to slide out. The wheels squeaked and some stopped turning. There was a white film on the racks and surfaces. We used this product one time and our dishwasher looks and works new again! It’s disappointing that one Finish product creates the issue and another Finish product fixes it.

I love Finish products, so decided to try this when I saw it. I loved the results so much, I ended up buying all my family members one!

Too expensive!

For the cost of this product I don't think it did do the job it said it would do. I would not purchase it again as it was too pricey.
