Not Cost Efficient But.....

Product does the trick, ships fast, better price than anything else I found but still not cheap. Minimal savings but worth it if you need without urgency

WSW-1 used to fit, but this one does not... beware

Purchased the "WSW-1" model in the past, which is no longer available. This looked like the same fit, but upon pushing it (with some difficulty) in to my KitchenAid built-in (KBLC36FKS00), water began dripping behind the foot plate. This could cause expensive water damage if you're not suspicious enough to look behind the foot plate. It looks like the O-rings are too thin compared to the WSW-1. Too bad, now I must purchase the really expensive filters.

does not fit...caused refrigerator problems

After installing this filter in my Kitchenaid refrigerator, I started noticing a hammering sound periodically coming from the fridge. The water supply hoses were banging against the back of the refrigerator. I never really thought it would be caused by the filter. I called for refrigerator repair with no results. The fridge never made the noise when the repair technician was here. I finally realized the only thing different was the brand of filter I had installed. So much for saving money. Now that I've paid a repair call, and now purchased the more expensive Every Drop filter, and wasted money on a 3 pack of worthless cheaper filters, I've learned my lesson. Now I see that there's a disclaimer on the package of these filters that says :The following claim has not been tested and certified by NSF: "This filter fits in place of". So at the top of the package it says "This filter fits in place of", and at the bottom it says it doesn't. The truth is...it doesn't fit.

Very Good Filters

I've purchased these Water Sentinel filters for a number of years and they have always worked fine. They're easy to install, and the water that they purify tastes fine. The purchase price was good too.

Will keep buying this product as long as I own my refrigerator.

These are the filters I've been buying for almost $50 each at the appliance store. So to get them for this price is really a bargain.
