Quality needles that do not splinter when knitting
I was very nervous to try 9” circulars but i got tired of losing stitches and stitch markers using don’s and silky yarn. The wood has just enough grip to keep fluid tension while knitting with a silky bamboo yarn. I was less tense when knitting with these.

No dpns no problems. For hat decreases
This is good for hat decreases although more uncomfortable than dpns. These have tiny needle nubz so they are very difficult to hold and may aggravate carpal tunnel or arthritis if u have. I'm not a fan of the the curve in metal common among clover single size circulars either, it's just awkward to me.. But I think it's to reduce circumference as that is the point of this. I was easily able to close up hat that knitted down to 5sts so maybe a adult sock would be ok. The metal to wood transitions are very smooth, so no drag or caught yarn. One thing to note for USA Knitters, as shown in photo, these are sz6 4.0 mm when standard size 6 for some brands like boye is 4.25mm, so make sure youre project start needles match up. I didn't and it's not really and issue but it may be noticeable to novice knitters. So for those newbies looking for a quick solve to close a hat and don't know dpn, this is it. Not a replacement for dpn completely tho.

Best circular needles!
Great circular needles especially for knitting hats or small items.

Much better than DPNs
I love these small circular needles. They are much better to make consistent stitching for sweater sleeves and other small knits in the round. However the shortness of the needles themselves does make them a little harder to hold while working. I guess that is just something you cant get around with a cable this short.

Love these little things
While it takes a wee bit of getting used to knitting with a circular needle that sort of "just tips", I much prefer this to DPNs for a number of projects, including fingerless gloves and hats (the top part).... of course, for the very top, you still need the double-pointed needles, though. I am slowly increasing my collection of these when a new project comes up (currently: baby hat), and have been thoroughly happy with each one I get.

Don't Give Up...
I bought these to knit up the sleeves on a sweater I'm currently knitting. The first few rows I was ready to give up and pull out my DPNs, but decided not to give up and keep going. I won't lie, it takes some getting used to. They are tiny, fiddly to start the first few rounds. But I kept weighting the pain with fighting ladders working on DPNs, and kept going. after I got a little length to the sleeve, I didn't really notice how small the needles were anymore. I felt I was knitting normally, my speed was back to normal. If you have arthritic hands, these may not be for you. I do have some hand issues, and I felt it using these. I have small hands, so I also don't know if that makes it easier for me to get used to these. In the end, I would buy more of these needles for knitting sleeves, and I would recommend them.

Good for Small Knitting Projects
I've been knitting for several years now, and recently I've started doing projects that require a certain needle size. The most recent project I've been working on is a pair of fingerless gloves that call for an 8" size 6 circular needle (the smallest I could find was a 9" needle). Anyway, even though these are 9" needles, they work for the gloves that I'm working on, simply because the gloves are meant to stretch to fit the forearm and hand. So these needles work perfectly for the gloves. I'm not sure what other things I can knit with these needles, but they are good for the gloves.
