Very nice.
Very nice jug, Good value, its a nice thick one gallon jug. Doesn't feel like there's any danger of it falling apart. The rubber stopper was good fit, and the airlock it included also seemed to be of good quality. The only thing i wish it had, that it did not, would be a screw on cap for the Jug If it included that, It would have ben totally perfect. If the company had a way to add the cap for buck, or two, that would have been a nice option, for the customer and the company could have profited an extra buck too. I'm sure ill find one somewhere to fit it. I was so impressed with the quality of the product, I ordered a second one already.

Solid, good item for the price.
No complaints, bought two for making honey mead. Will buy more if I decide to do more batches at once.

Great product 1 flaw
I love the size of these because it gives me the ability to try smaller samples of ciders. The only problem I found was trying to keep the bunt in the mouth. I had one slip through all the way, I don't know I will be able to get that out. But if I didn't shove it in and tape it then it would pop right out. Is there any easier suggestions out there?

Came with different airlock than pictured
It appears to be the right size carboy, but the airlock is not the same kind pictured in the listing. It’ll do the job, but rather misleading if you’re going for consistency like I was.

All 4 came with S topper and bung instead of screw on top as advertised

Did not come with screw on cap, came with a rubber plug instead.
Would have liked the palstic cap with the hole in it but received the rubber cork instead. 4 out of 5 stars for not providing what was in the multiple pictures of the product.

A few problems. Wrong airlock, bung slides out
I ordered 2 sets of the carboy, airlock, and bung to make mead. When they arrived, neither of them came with the pictured airlock, they both had the S shaped airlock. It was actually more of a happy mistake because I want the S shaped airlock but didn’t want to pay more for it. One of the sets of carboy/airlock/bung worked perfectly, and I am now enjoying delicious mead. The second set, however, wouldn’t produce bubbles in the airlock. Finally I noticed that when I pushed down on the bung, the lock had positive pressure and bubbles were produced. A few seconds after letting go, it was back to the same, no pressure, no bubbles. So my bung was sliding out. I tried everything, cleaning, drying, holding for minutes on end to get the bung to stay in but it just kept sliding out. Eventually the only resolution I could find was to make a square of tape and tape the bung down to the carboy. Ultimately it worked and I am enjoying that mead too, but it’s annoying that you have a 50/50 chance of getting a set that works properly.

If you don’t mind a different item it’s not bad
Bottle is fine. I wanted the other stopper. Fault is on me I didn’t read the reviews and hoped for an honest deal. At least place a disclaimer that the fermentation stopper may be different than pictured if you cannot supply the pictured variety.

Low quality, not as advertised.
Product is of low quality and not as advertised. The carboy itself is fine, but instead of a 3-piece bubbler, I received an S-style bubbler (which I did not want, as they are much harder to clean and sanitize). The rubber stopper/ bung I received also does not form-fit well and popped out during the early stages of brewing, so I had to duct-tape it down.

Don't waste your money. made with cheap glass and cap maerial
Love the gallon, not so much the cheap glass. Body looks heavy but surprisingly the mouth of the bottle gets chipped easily. I also don't like the caps (cheap rubber, tiny plastic that also broke in 2 pieces). Won't buy it again. plus the vendor keeps rising its price.

The air lock is not the same one as in the description. It was the cheaper and harder to clean airlock. Do not buy!
