Dry toes ... no snow melting salt stuck between her toes

These are wonderful, but only if the fit is correct. My ShihTzu is 10 lbs and I bought the XXS. (The are tubes so no real foot size and better smaller) I have purchased every kind of boot for my previous dogs, nothing worked...never stayed on...dogs couldn't walk...but these "Lookin Good Boots" are great if you put them on correctly. Dog's toes must always be at the tip. They are "tubes" so the foot breaks the sole so it fits the foot. The boot has to be pulled up as high as it can go and the Velcro made as tight as you can. (Cut off the extra length.) I put them on in the house a couple of times for her to get used to them. First time they fell off,,,after that they always stay on and she doesn't walk funny or try to pull them off unless I leave a velcro hanging...she loves chewing on Velcro. Try them. If your dog will wear boots, these, if proper size will work.

Cheaply made but stay on well.

These boots are OK. I can't say that they are "good" because, they started to fall apart after 4 days. My dog weighs 8 lbs, so it wasn't from wear and tear. The fabric is flimsy. Holes appeared after just a few, short walks. The good thing about these boots is that they stay on better than other boots I've tried. The Velcro needs to be trimmed (or it hangs off and gets dirty). OK purchase. If your dog needs boots (as mine does, living in Chicago), these are good because they are cheap and you can replace them often.

Absolutely perfect! Our miniature Dachshund is very bad on a leash as he just wants to go, go, go. So he pulls and does the jack rabbit hop constantly with his back feet, causing him to rip the pads off. A simple 1 mile walk will be leaving bloody foot prints in the house. No amount of leash training has worked so we went with shoes. He only wears the back shoes and not in cold weather yet. It took only minutes for him to get used to them. The velcro strap is long enough to fully secure the shoe to the foot. The shoe also come up high enough to stay put, even with a neurotic Dachshund trying to run.

Pugs in boots

When the temperature gets below 10 degrees Fahrenheit or so, pugs seriously give up on going to the bathroom, it's terrible. These boots are a good size for them, and aren't too tough to put on. They're not of the highest quality - they have a nice pebbled rubberized pad that seems to help a bit for traction, but starts to wear through fairly quickly. The fabric does get a little saturated after a little while outside, but it's not the end of the world for quickly taking the dogs out.

Good product but check the size

The package said XS but clearly had medium booties in it. They're cute but I can't use them for my dog

Try these instead of "collar of shame" for scratching cat

Tried these along with several collars to keep my cat from scratching her ears raw (from allergies). Worked better than the collars but she kept trying to shake it off. I finally got a baby's sock and put the paper tape for wounds around it and she was more comfortable. The booties have a slight footbed in them which was awkward for her to move in.

Simply the best...

I find these to be the best made dog boots for my dog. They are easy to put on and they stay on. My only issue is that I ordered the size I'm used to getting and it turns out these are designed slightly larger, so I needed a size down. I had another pair of these before and they were the XXS, so that's what I ordered, but it looks like I needed the itty bitty ones this time around. They still work just as well, my dog just has lots of room in them. I would still recommend them and I would certainly buy them again, if needed.

They stay on my Yorkies small feet!!

8 lb yorkie and xs booties! I love these booties as they are the only ones I have found to stay on my yorkie's feet! 3 suggestions to improve them greatly. 1. Turn the strap/buckle around so it does not sit flat against the foot but rather the outside of the foot. 2. Thicken the leather pad on the bottom. 3. Use a more waterproof upper. I will buy these regardless since they work for my Gracie but others want them improved first! I purchased several pairs so we would always have dry ones in between play time outside.

We buy them every year.

These boots are great and easy to get on. There are actually several weak links. Before I start, I buy these boots every yr bc my husband can't get the knack of any other style of boot and my chihuahuas small legs and feet have specific dimensions that aren't avail in most boots. So I stuck up the downsides bc this is the only thing we've found that works. We walk on snow only, dry them on the in floor heating vents and I'm hoping to replace the velcro myself. 1. The velcro starts to shred itself. Not only does this mean it doesn't last long but the threads that fall off of the hook side stay tight until you rip them and you will almost certainly hurt your dogs feet once not noticing this. 2. If you use these on sidewalks and pavement you won't need to worry about the above too much bc the extremely thin leather layer will get scrubbed off in no time. 3. The boots absorb a LOT of water when it's out there. You'll need a strategy to dry them between walks so they're dry enough to protect your dogs feet. This will be a downside of all fabric only boots.

They are good boots and warm— not waterproof but good for the snow ..\

I have a small dog 11 - 12 lbs ....and these boots are the best for the snow and they are warm but not waterproof ——- they stay on about 90% of the time — if one comes off it is usually only one —- Boots in general for dogs are hard to find that actually stay on — so these are pretty good for the price They are better than most boots and the Velcro is great —- I have been using them for years—- highly recommend these boots and my dog is so happy when he wears them ....

Pros and Cons

Pros is that these booties "stay on" my little guys feet. They are perfect for very cold weather so he can go on a proper little walk in -20 without getting cold. Cons are that once the snow gets slushy they get wet. Also the leather wears out quickly due to it being very thin and the salt eats it up. So in one winter I can go through 4 to 6 sets of these booties depending on the quality of each batch I receive. I have seen more expensive booties on other dogs wear out just as fast so for the price I don't mind.
