The device is fine but didn’t solve my problem

I am a cancer patient and take a ton of pills daily. It has become difficult lately. This is probably a great solution for some people but didn’t really help me. It’s probably not much different than putting the pill in your mouth and then drinking quickly from any water bottle. Oh, well! Worth a try.

Works remarkably well

Worked pretty well, even with more than one pill. Some pills will stick if the inside is wet. It really isn't threaded for any standard water bottle, it's just flexible enough that it screws on most bottles. I thought it might leak or slide off, but didn't. The hospice people hadn't seen it. It's a little limiting if you're trying to get a dozen pills in someone. Pudding or applesauce also work well. This was one of the few things that seemed to work when they were almost unconscious and had difficulty swallowing.

Great Concept, but didn’t work for us

It’s a great concept product and it may work for some people but our autistic child was too smart for it.

It works!

It takes some practice. I used vitamins to test it myself before giving it to my husband who has gag reflex problem. He swallows his pill in the first sip of water.

Worked like a charm!

I attached it to a cheap grocery-store water bottle and gave it to my kid with the pill inside. He chugged the water and when I asked if it worked, he looked down and said, "I guess so because the pill is gone! I didn't even notice I swallowed it!" A huge relief for both of us, as he was really, really struggling before. I'm so glad I found this that I even wrote a review!

Only for extremely small pills

Did not make clear enough it only passes the smallest possible pills. Less than 5mm

Good idea just didn't work for my child

I bought this hoping it would help my child take pills. She is very scared of swallowing pills and chokes. This did not work. She drank the water and left the pill sitting in her mouth.

Works great depending on your child

I have 2 boys that need to take medication daily. Their meds only come in capsule form and if I break the capsule open it has a horrible taste, so we thought this would help. My 7yr old learned how to use this in about 2 days. He now takes the pill with this spout daily. My 13yr old on the other hand, still cannot take his pill even with this. I think for him it’s all mental. It’s probably best to start using this at a young age. I definitely give it a try!

Suggest buying the cup instead

Doesn't work the water bottle I put it on crushed underneath me putting this on and water sprayed everywhere, you have to be very slow and careful. And it didn't help me swallow my capsules I haven't tried with pills yet because putting this on a bottle is time consuming and not easy to do. Don't believe it's actually worth what I paid. Also doesn't fit on any reusable bottle so you constantly have to buy water bottles.

Can't fool my kid ughhh

My child has Autism and this did not fool him one bit, found the pill immediately and chewed it up. Back to square one. I'm sure it must work for lots of kids just not mine, I don't want to knock the product down because I though for sure it would have worked but no luck.

Doesn’t work

The pill would get stuck inside no matter what. Made sure it was fully dry, put the pill in and it still got stuck to the grid thing. It was HARD to put on the water bottle also… leaked. After 3 days of trying I tossed it. Wouldn’t recommend.

does not fit most bottles

too small for most bottles and if your pill is small, it will go through the opening. even if pill fits, the holes make it weird when you drink

Not very useful

Didn't really work for the intended purpose. Pill got wet and stick to the tube and then was more of a problem than trying to swallow it the first time.
