I grew up in California and love the water there. Currently living in Utah and it has been a struggle for me to stay hydrated the last few years living in this state - the water is nasty in my humble opinion. Installed this under my sink. Pretty easy install with clear instructions. Took about an hour. 100% worth it if you are battling within yourself daily about drinking water. I fill my gallon water bottle with this water every morning and bring it around with me wherever I go. I can drink it lukewarm and it’s delicious. I didn’t install the faucet part, I just put a command hook under the sink and I leave it hanging on there until I need to use it - because I am renting and can’t drill a hole in the counter. But it is easy enough to uninstall and transport that I will be able to take it with me if I move to a new place. 10/10 would recommend. It’s pretty affordable too!

*Updated Review* I had so many issues with leaks I thought it was a system issue (I've left my previous review so folks can still read). I actually had to dig through previous reviews to troubleshoot. Turns out, it was a very simple fix. The little hoses they provide need to be pushed in securely. I THOUGHT I had done that, but when I went back to every hose, turns out I had not. When you push the hoses into the system, make double sure they're pushed in all the way. You'll know they're not because you'll get a major leak issue. The reason why I'm taking a star off is because it constantly drains. I've gone through and done everything I can to try and get it to stop but it doesn't work. I've had to simply resort to using the shut off after the bladder is full. The water tastes amazing. They've done a great job with this system. I very rarely write reviews, but I was so excited to get a wonderful water system installed and this was just a huge disappointment. Every pinch point leaks. I’m not sure if it’s because the tubing is so unbelievably cheap or it’s poor quality controls. The major leak points start from the inlet of the “anti-leak” mechanism to the elbows. Thank goodness their anti leak piece actually works. It feels so poorly made that the connections have little to no ability to manage the water inflow. The leaks are so bad that it literally sprays out (not drips). Could not get the system even fully operational because the leaks were so bad. Stick with another brand that won’t use poor couplers.

Tastes great

My husband took about an hour to install this. It came out working and looking great. My six-year-old daughter says it’s the most tasty water she has had. I have not performed any tests on it. But I assume it is working great. My husband installed the tank and one of the unused cabinets and the filters under the sink. This allowed us to keep our storage space under the sink. For the price compared to the others, I would definitely recommend the system.

Great Tasting Water and Easy Installation

The RO system arrived quickly and the step by step instructions were easy to follow. Took me about 20 minutes to install the unit. The water tastes amazing now and I am looking forward to years of great tasting water now. I highly recommend this system.

It was a little hard to install but totally worth it! Clean great tasting water for a fraction of the price! I have 3 one at our old house now air bnb 5 years old we change the filers every 6 months (super affordable replacement filters) and never had any problems. One in my kitchen at home obviously! And one outside for our water res that we use to water our plants and animals 10/10

Best investment for healthy living

It's been a while since I installed it at my house. Before you buy it, measure the width and depth of your cabinets. It takes a good amount of space. Instructions are easy to follow. The taste and the flavor of the water is notable. And when you use to it everyday your health change.

Once set up, it’s fantastic

After installed, it has been fantastic. Water tastes great and is far better than disposable bottles. TDS went from 350 down to 60. Excellent! Install was an absolute beast. Although instructions are clear (perhaps overly clear), there’s a lot to do. I had about 10 leaks in different spots at different times. Most of it was my fault but there was a pre-installed filter I had to tighten because it leaked. Hooking up the pipes is simple. Just push it in and you’re done. Theoretically. There were a couple spots I thought I had clearly pushed it in all the way but apparently I hadn’t. After pushing it in again, each leak stopped. I also hadn’t tightened one of the canisters completely. Originally I didn’t want to overtighten but I had to until the labels all faced straight forward. Same with the connection on the holding tank. I had to tighten more than I thought. I also had to replace the p-trap since it was too high and the only spot to attach the drain still had water in it because of the design of the trap. Tips: -Leave the tubes long enough where you can pull it out from under the sink to fix any leaks or replace the filter. -Get an alarm that detects water. They’re relatively cheap and gives you peace of mind. The shutoff that comes with the system is good but only comes with a few of the sponges.

Muy caro, no se consiguen las refacciones en México.

Al principio compre este kit y la verdad la calidad me gustó mucho, por un año tuve agua y fui feliz hasta que vi el costo de los repuestos. Revisa muy bien cuanto costará porque cada vez que quieras cambiar tus repuestos gastaras un aproximado de 2 o 3mil pesos. Además de eso hay partes que no se consiguen en México y si quieres pedirlas te cobran hasta el 60% del costo en envio. Aunque el producto es muy bueno, el costo no lo vale, recomiendo mejor buscar marcas locales porque Express Water no envía a México.

Amazing System

For the money this is hands down one of the best systems. It was easy to install. The flavour of the alkaline water is great. We hooked it up to the fridge so it took a bit more to install it because of all the filling and emptying you need to do to get it set up. Before connecting it, I hooked up the faucet temporarily and drained it into the sink. The first day or two, there was a strange rubber-like flavour in the water. This is normal. The rubber bladder inside the tank needs a few cycles of expansion and contraction to loosen up. If you get that flavour or rubber, all you need to do is to completely drain the tank 2 times and then it’s gone. But make sure you drain it to the point where the water comes out as a trickle and you’ll know it’s completely empty. I have had it for 5 months and I think it’s ready for the first filter change. We have not had a single problem with the system. It does make a funny sound every once in a while but that’s just the bladder making noise. It’s a great product at a great price. Very well packaged and easy to understand instructions. It took me only 45 minutes to set it up.

Good value for money, easy installation.

I am very happy with my purchase, thank you. Pros: - replacement filters very affordable. - installation instructions are excellent. - kit comes with spare parts you might need down the road - fairly compact installation with a wide variety of component placement options for cramped, odd sized, or difficult spaces. - crisp, clean taste, crystal clear water - 50 gallons per day is suitable for most families and uses. - minimal tools needed for installation: drill, drill bits (for drain saddle), screw driver, sharp knife (for pipe, my pipe cutter just mangled it), adjustable wrench for nuts, and some type of channel lock and that's pretty much it. Cons: - some people may not like the taste (or lack of) of the water but this is true of most all RO systems. - 50 gallons per day might not be enough for heavy user families. - it is not always completely silent. Occasional draining, burbling, hissing sounds are not obtrusive but noticeable in a quiet environment. - if you are not particularly handy the installation might be more suitable for a professional.

Amazing

Where do I start? Firstly I was originally going to get the Big Berkey. But the more I thought about it the more I realised that this was far better value for money. The product came very well packaged. And it was very easy to figure out how to install the unit. One thing that should be noted though is that you need to take your time. Check and recheck before you do anything. And don't skip any steps. Treat the unit and the filters with allot of care. It just takes one good bump to crack something and then your done. Once installed follow the start up process. Flushing the system 4 or 5 times fully. I did 8. By the end of the flushing the water will be so pure it has virtually no taste. It's like drinking silk. It's delicious and so refreshing.

Impressed by the product and amazing support

The water is great in the big city I live in, but taste is not exceptional with a strong chlorine smell depending on the season. After asking for quotes around, I thought I would see what Amazon had to offer. I went for this system that adds minerals after the RO process. Fairly easy to install, nice paper installation manual but you also have Videos if you need another approach. As for efficiency, the water tastes amazing and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!
