Helpful Product

I have 2 red eared sliders, and my older gal used it as a chew toy and spit it out. For the week it lasted, the water was cleaner looking. If they stay cheap enough, I'll continue to buy them both as a water cleanser and a turtle toy.

Look Great in the Tank

These look great in the tank! No fret if they float for a minute. They will sink. So far so good!

Great product!!

My turtles love these moss balls! I got two because of the size of the tank and two turtles needed help. My babies knocked them free from the sand/rocks and started rubbing their faces and necks against them like they were scrubby sponges designed just for them. The water is staying clean longer, the smell has reduced so much it’s hard to tell I have a turtle tank in the room! I highly recommend these and already plan to buy more.

Not real moss but still great!

I use these in my aquarium with African dwarf frogs. They’re not real moss, but because marimos aren’t available right now they’re a good replacement. They look more realistic once they’re in the tank They do seem to help with nitrates. If your water parameters are way off or tank is super dirty they definitely won’t fix it and you have other work to do. But they help a bit to keep already good water conditions stable and prevent nitrate spikes. They won’t do the work for you or replace water changes but they’re a nice supplemental addition Also my little frogs love them. They like to hide under them and push them around. Btw It takes about a week for them to sink, you’ll have to squeeze and roll them around under the water to get air bubbles out and then wait. I would be hesitant to use them with fish in case they eat the fibers, but great for frogs

Moss Ball

Good price, not the brand I normally buy but this one was cheaper so thought I would give it a try. Keeps tank clean and works just as well as more expensive one.
