Great little grill and an easy hack to add a lid

This is a really great little grill. It's lightweight, portable, and the top storage compartment is deep enough to hold a mess kit. I have stored tongs, a spatula, rag, cleaner, and a lighter in it. I was really impressed that the grill and charcoal got SUPER HOT yet the handles were still cool enough to touch (note: the side of the grill was very hot and will easily burn your fingers, so dont move it when its lit unless you have to). The only downside as others have mentioned is the lack of a built-in lid. As much as I like the detachable storage unit, I would have traded that for hinged lid. But I am coming here to add a hack I discovered. A 10x12 inch foil pan (the only size sold by our Costco) happens to fit perfectly over the grilling space. It worked great to hold the heat in and speed up the cooking. See pic- try it!

Mostly a Great Design

Really like the design an idea behind this as a tailgating/camping BBQ. It's built well. I have the orange one. My only complaint is that my grill has developed a hot spot under the fire box where there is about a 1/2" spot where the orange enamel has been baked off. It's invisible except when the fire box is out for cleaning - I hope it will not affect the longevity of the grill. Otherwise it's a clever design and works as advertised.

It's pretty cool

Works great and was easy to start with briquettes. Bottom and sides do get hot, so make sure not to put it on something you don't want to burn. Pros: Clean up was a breeze, pulled the coal holder out and rinsed it off. Used a paper towel on the interior of the unit. The finish on the unit was very nice, and the unit was well built. Cons: The only con I can think of is that it should have a metal cover that can be used for either grilling or killing the coals when you're done cooking. Other than that it worked as expected.

Perfect size for small apartment. Wish it had a lid

I like how small this little BBQ is. The grill space is great, you could easily cook 3 good size burgers on it. I like the cutting board and the plastic tray . I use it as a storage keeper for lighters, smores sticks ect. It is pretty light weight for everything. I use it for my small deck it's perfect for 2 people. Super easy and portable for camping, next time I got im bringing it. Over all I'm happy with it. Only thing I wish it had would be a lid during cooking.

Love this for use on patio table

I have a small deck. And don’t want to have a large grill where I have to walk down steps and go out in the yard with food. I use this on my patio table as it does not get too hot on the bottom. This grill is perfect when cooking for two. It does not use too much charcoal and I am able to cook six regular sized hamburgers. When I’m done cooking, I let the coals cool down, and then I dump the little bit of remaining ash in my trashcan. I have been using this all summer and I absolutely love this thing.

The best travel grill

Got this to gift and the grill master was VERY happy! Only thing missing is a cover to smoke meat and kill the heat. Other than that, amazing and intuitive grill.

It's a small grill, just very cool looking

Very well constructed and the cool factor is there. It cooks well, but a little difficult to clean if you cook something with sugar in it. I've had it a week and have already used 4 times. Fun to cook on. Update: The porcelain is cracked on the inside of the grill. Looks like it's due to the heat from my fire. Thinking that shouldn't happen after a half dozen cooks. A little disappointed.
