My 10 yr old loves catching, so we ordered him gear and this bag to store it all! He didn’t want a roller bag. He can easily put in both helmets (catcher/batting) and chest pad in the lower section, his fielding glove in the top (catcher glove too if he chose), and leg guards with 2 bats on their respective side pockets. The bag is a bit big, but he’ll grow. The quality seems really good with strong zippers.

Fits everything

Not only for catchers
These days players have tons of gear and my kid is not a catcher but certainly has enough gear as one. This is a very versatile bag and works gray for those kiddos that carry extra equipment. Love it!!

This works well for a person that is not a full-time catcher.
It is nice that it is a backpack. It holds the shin guards on the outside and there is enough room for gear. It may not be the best if you have to use your catching gear all of the time. My daughter plays multiple positions and this bag holds all of her stuff. 4 gloves helmet and catching gear. Catchers only, go with the pull bag.

It's worth it
I am a softball catcher and this bag is a great way to store your gear without having to carry all of your stuff in a wheelie bag. Great product that I highly recommend.

Poor stiching
We were excited to order this bag. My daughter is the catcher on her varsity high school team and she really wanted a backpack style bag, instead of the roller one she used last year. At first this bag was great however as you can see in the photo the stitching failed resulting in a big tear. This bag was brand new for the 2023 season. Not even one year's use and there's a tear. Hopefully it makes it through the rest of the season. We will be looking for a replacement for next year.

It works well if you're not throwing stuff in there willy-nilly
My son got his own catcher's gear for the first time this season (thanks Corona!), so he needed a way to cart it around. He didn't want a roll cart, so we went with this. As a 12U player, he has no trouble fitting catcher's gear, batting helmet, 2 bats, and 3 fielding gloves in this bag. He has never tried to add cleats to the mix, but I will say that if you just try to randomly stuff all your gear in the bag, you might have some trouble closing it. If you spend a minimal amount of time actually packing the bag, everything fits well, and we've never really used the extra straps that you can use to strap a glove or helmet to the outside of the bag, so there appears to be room to grow if you use those straps.

Muy buena mochila
Esta muy bien, cumple. Esperaba que fuera un poquito más grande, pero está bien. Caben los arreos (y eso que son pequeños para mi hija) y 3 manoplas, pero ya no entró el casco de bateo (qué tengo que colgar por fuera) ni los spikes. Estoy conforme con la compra.

Looks good but velcro inside is misaligned
Bag looks great and feels like it's a good quality bag. Our son is NOT a catcher but we were looking for a backpack style bag that would have more room for typical gear, plus separate compartments for shoes and his glove. This will easily fit all of that, plus room for extra clothes, drinks and snacks. The side pouches for catcher's shin guards will work great to hold things like arm guards, etc. The only issue, and I've ordered a replacement as a result, is the interior velcro to hold the shelf up isn't lined up on one side making it impossible to secure properly on the one side. I can barley get it to catch and even with nothing on the shelf I can hear the velcro pulling apart because it's pulled so tight trying to reach (1st picture shows how it barely reaches, second picture shows the ripples in the shelf because it's warped trying to line up and sitting at a slant as a result). Really hoping the replacement, scheduled to come tomorrow, is better because it looks like it'll be exactly what we want otherwise. ????
