You can be self sufficient longer.

If You have a hard time getting up from that low Commode, this item lets You adjust height of the arms so You can push up with your arms, to assist your legs, so You do not need help, and can keep Your Independance a while longer. I purchased one of these for my elderly Mother when her back was out of place. When Her back was better she would not let me put it in storage. She stated it helped her with stability issues, when standing up.

Easy to assemble

Purchased this for our daughter restroom . She needs all the support right now while she going through her chemotherapy and this is a complete game changer. She can grab on and help herself up without movement.

Not worth the money

I bought this because of the reviews and maybe I just got a poor one. It isn't very stable. It rocks when I get up and it has thin cheap stickers on the bottom to keep it from sliding. One has already come off and I stuck it back on. I bought a safety rail several years ago for the upstairs bath from one of those cheap catalogs that has been around for decades and it is far superior to this. I can't return it because I don't drive so I guess I'm stuck with it. It is acceptable at best. Luckily the downstaits bath is a very small half-bath so I have a little security there with the commode in a niche with something around it.

Very Heavy Duty

I am 6’3” and 250 lbs. I purchased this right after I had double knee replacement surgery and I could not use the toilet without 2 people on stand- by as I could not get off (of the toilet) by myself. Assembly was super easy as a wing nut type bolt to secure the frame together ( no tools required). I purchased a toilet seat riser to set directly on top of the bowl and placed the frame around the toilet. With the arms set in the tallest position, this allows me to take myself to the toilet without any assistance. We also place this in our shower which allows me to get up from the shower bench by myself as well. As earlier explained, even with the adjustable arms in the tallest position, this frame is solid, steady, and easily handles my 250 lb frame. Subsequent re-check of the bolts after using this frame for a couple weeks found the bolts to still be solid and did not require any further re-tightening of any bolt. I highly recommend this product as it has given me a tool to care for myself, which is a very liberating feeling, especially after a double knee replacement surgery.

Works but is more narrow than you think

Quick assembly and works fine. However we could not place it behind the toilet as pictured as it was more narrow than we thought it’d be. It served its purpose for stability in the bathroom.

Perfect for my amputee

My husband is a new above the knee amputee and PT sent home a bedside chair but not the size he requested. I had already purchased this because we live in a mobile home and the walls in these things are not the strongest so I did not want to chance a fall. This works well for us because he can put it into place and I can move it or the kids can move it. It works for the whole family. It was very easy to put together. The directions, if you need them are straight forward, complete and correct. All parts were sent and well protected. The product is exactly as stated in the description and is light enough my 8 year old can move in and out of place. I would highly recommend this item if stationary bars are not ideal in your space.

Toilet Safety Rail

I found this toilet rail to be sturdy and not to bulky. It fits nicely in the small area we have available. It came with the screw in hardware making it simple to put together. I really like the side basket, it’s handy for personal items.
