Thought it would be better
I bought this clock because I thought it would be better than my old clock radio. For the most part, it isn't. Here are my issues: 1. I thought the number pad would make entering the alarm time really easy. But you enter the hours, then wait 5 seconds, then it switches to minutes, then you enter the minutes. I expected that you would just punch in the entire time on the number keypad all at once, like 7-0-0. But instead it is 7, wait 5 seconds, then 0-0. 2. I can't set the alarm time in the dark, because I can't see the switches and keypad in the dark. On my old clock radio, the switches are in front and below the illuminated time, which gives enough light to see them. 3. I think that an alarm clock should have a way to turn off the alarm, but leave it set for tomorrow. With this clock, when the alarm is sounding, you would need to turn the alarm off and then immediately turn it back on. 4. The switches are stiff so that you need to hold the alarm clock in order to toggle them. So I find myself picking up the alarm clock for most functions, which seems unnecessary. Although some people might prefer that because you can easily get it closer to you for setting the alarm time. The combination of 1 and 2 are enough to make me go back to using my old clock radio.

Easy to read those big numbers.
This is a replacement for an identical item purchased years ago. I liked it enough to buy this second one.

Alarm clock for dummies
My husband woke up 3 hours too early, because he misread our old clock. It was time to find one with a larger display. I went to Wally World and bought the lowest priced large display clock on the shelf. I am fairly good with most technology, but this thing left me stupefied. None of the buttons were designated as time, set or alarm, so it was not immediately clear how to set it. The instructions were printed on the tiniest owners manual I have ever seen and even with my glasses on it was a challenge to read. I knew there was no way I was going to remember how to reset that clock when I needed to, so I put the manual in the top drawer of the dresser. Of course when I needed to refer to it again, I could not find it. I tried to figure it out on my own and I had to give up. Stupefied by an alarm clock WTH! I found this baby with a quick search and it is the easiest clock I have ever owned. No need to ready any directions to set it up. The buttons are clear and straight forward. Nice big display. The brightness and alarm volume are adjustable. I like it.

Gets the job done
My husband had me to order this as a replacement for an older one just like it. It seems to work pretty well for him.

Perfect for snoozers
I love this alarm clock! It is perfect for people like me who have a hard time waking up and press the snooze a lot. My favorite part is that the on/off feature is a switch, so you don't have to worry about pressing the wrong button in your sleep when you meant to press snooze. Also I like the emergency battery because my electricity tends to go off and back on during winter or a storm. When the electricity comes back on, the time and alarm are still set how I had them before the outtage thanks to the battery.

Love this alarm clock
As strange as it is to love an alarm clock, I love this alarm clock! The keypad for setting your time and alarm is what initially sold me. I like the large numbers and they aren’t too bright when on the dimmed setting. The clock is light and still has a slimmer profile even with the keypad. I like that all of the buttons to control the settings are on the top and not on the back. Really happy with this purchase.

Utter Junk
It didn't even last one year until it failed; about 10 months. It's not even worth sending back for service under the two-year warranty due to the high cost of shipping to the US. I would usually open it and try to fix it as I have electronics experience but considering how underwhelming it's ergonomics and performance are, it's not worth my time nor effort. I wanted a clock with a fast alarm setup feature since my wake-up times can greatly vary from day to day. Although, it has a numerical keypad for direct time entry and alarm setup, it slows you down by making you wait about 10 seconds once you set the hour and before it moves on to the minutes; that's really annoying. The poor ergonomic design combined with the cheap quality slide switches they've used on this clock will often make one slide by accident past the "LOCK" setting and onto the "TIME" setting, forcing one to have to re-enter the time. This happened to me more often then I care to remember. My goal was to have a clock that could be set quickly, not to have me waist my time by having to reset the time unnecessarily. The alarm's sound uses a buzzer tone that's quite unpleasant, especially considering it's the first sound you hear to start your day on. In conclusion, for a piece of cheap plastic and electronics made in China, terrible realiability and poor design, it's not worth the $32 price I paid.
