Worthwhile Purchase For My Pack
My old ROKK pack did not come with hip belt pockets, and I desired some to keep key items close by during my treks, so I purchased 2. These are easy to attach to the straps and stay put when tightened. They hold a good amount of gear - one has cell phone, my headlamp, and a compass; the other has a trowel, TP, sanitizer and sunscreen. The little mesh front pocket is not extremely useful due to size (I keep a whistle in one). It zips open & closed easily, though the string used as a zipper pull came off both pockets and were lost; replaced with a small keyring. Very lightweight (just over 1 oz. each) so not a huge add to my base pack weight for the usefulness of this item.

It works.
This is an ok hip belt pocket. The one Concern I have is that the stiching on the inside isn't very good (not double stitched, somplaces the stitches are not locked) but I don't think it will fall apart. I do like the Velcro adjustments on the back. It fits on my granite gear Leopard VC 46 great. I can fit my iPhone 6, pocketknife, and three protein bars in it.

Impossible to close with one hand
While it's definitely ultralight, the thinness of the material coupled with the cheap zipper means that EVERY time I try to close it with one hand, the fabric catches in the zipper, forcing me to use two hands to free it, then close it properly. While this may seem like a minor niggle, it means that I need two hands to close it, which means that if I'm on the trail I can't just quickly unzip it open, get what I need, and then zip it closed. Returning this to buy something better-made. Only reason it's not getting 1-star is because this might not be an issue for some people.

Great for backpacking
This was exactly what I needed. I was looking for a pouch with a zipper to put on my backpacking pack for my phone, chap-stick, and map/compass. This is perfect. The only problem was keeping it on when the pack was off. This was easily solved by putting a small cheap carabeener on the end loop and through the zipper fob of the way too small hip pouches on my pack. I'm going to make a little strap for the ends so it can also be my "purse" when I go into town.

Used this to carry my iPhone 6 Plus on my backpack shoulder strap so I could get it out quickly to snap pictures on my hikes. The phone fits well and the case straps were able to hold it in place. The only issue was that the zipper was a little awkward to zip and unzip while it was mounted.

versatile well made pockets
This is my third Equinox pack pocket. I love these things. they weight nothing and are very versatile. I've created my personal first aid kit, a toiletry kit, and a daytime pouch for trail snackies. They are easy to find inside my pack or you can use the Velcro to attach them to the outside of your pack. I have three different packs depending on the hike I'm walking and using the Equinox pockets make it super easy to transfer to the other packs. You can't go wrong using these.

Light and handy
My newest backpack does not have hip-belt pockets, which I have enjoyed on previous, heavier packs. This pocket is a good size and slips easily on the hip belt. I used a caribiner to keep it from slipping off the belt every time I unhooked the belt. The pocket comfortably held my iphone, passport, and pocket money. It is not waterproof. I slipped everything into ziplock bags when it rained.

A handy accessory to a backpack
My wife and I each ordered one of these for this year's hike on the Pourtuguese Way of El Camino de Santiago. We found them handy for money, passport, and credit cards when we didn't want to leave valuables outside of cafés and in albergues with backpacks. They are lightly built, but have served us well.
