Well made, good price

Bought a Phillips epilator that was in $30 range which looked like this epilator based on reviews. Ended up returning the Phillips epilator as it did not seem to tweeze, just cut the hairs. Talked with my daughter who recommended this Braun epilator that she uses. What a difference! This epilator actually tweezes the hairs. Must admit many hairs are still cut and grow back quickly, but at least a good quantity are epilated. From years of tweezing hairs, I realize some hairs break off even from individual epilating with a tweezer so can understand an epilator with a high speed breaking off hairs. To minimize this problem, I use the epilator on the slow speed, dragging it slowly over my skin. Yes, I use this epilator on clean, dry skin. I hold the epilator at a 90 degree angle, drawing it slowing against the growth of the hair. I also go over the area multiple times to remove all the hairs. Some hairs require a change in direction to pull them out. Although the epilator doesn't tweeze every hair, it is so much better than shaving for regrowth. Repeated epilation does seem to lessen regrowth as more and more hairs are actually epilated. Happy with this purchase

I wish I started epilating sooner!

I finally got an epilator because I was sick of shaving. It was so much work and time for smoothness that lasted only 48 hrs. You could also see the hair under my skin too after shaving, so it's not like shaving gave my legs the ideal appearance. The regrowth caused my skin to itch and I would scratch sometimes until I bled and scabbed. And I got so many ingrown hairs. This epilator eliminated all of my issues from shaving! Epilating took awhile my first time, but I look forward to spending a shorter amount of time with the upkeep. Legs felt like pin pricks but you get used to it. I literally saw stars with my armpits and it took me forever to fully epilate this area. The results are truly worth any discomfort or pain, though. I love that this epilator is corded, so my use isn't restricted by battery life, like with rechargeable models. I also love that it has a light that automatically turns on and stays on when the epilator is running. I am taking off a star because some hairs were cut rather than tweezed, and the shape of epilation head makes it hard to maneuver around the bones of my ankles. If you're like me and hate shaving with a passion, then use that strong hate to power through the discomfort of the epilator. I am so glad I have a epilator now and can ditch shaving for good!!

Worth it!

This is the first epilator I have used. I have been a fan of waxing for years but it is quite difficult to get some spots on your own at home. This will now be my go-to for hair removal on my legs and bikini area. It can be quite painful at first, even more so than waxing. But the more you get the hang of it it the less pain you feel. My only complaint is that I wish the head was larger to make the process go a bit faster, while also wishing it was smaller to reach some tricky spots and facial hair. I will purchase a smaller one for my face and probably invest in a larger, rotating head next time for specific needs. But this is definitely a beginner friendly purchase that I will be using for quite awhile before upgrading.

OMG I actually enjoy this

Some of us do not need to worry about the pain factor. Some of us are tougher than tough. For all you returning military veterans, police officers, sheriff deputies, EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, gangsters and undertakers, if you've been through a world of darkness that's prepared you for a world of darkness more, you're tough enough to handle this by a long shot. If you're a person that gets a sexual charge from a good hard slap in the butt, then I can't recommended this product enough. You have got to buy one of these and give a whirl. You might end up liking it way more than you thought possible. I uh, mowed the grass around the back door and did my butt and legs and I'm hard pressed to find a square inch of my body that doesn't love the sensation of this thing going to work. I could say more but I don't want this review to be too long. Do your research get some exfoliating soap and some baby oil. It's not perfect. If you get broken hairs try the slower setting. Anyways if you give it a thought just buy one, you might really like it

The only Guy Review?

So I got this to epilate my upper body as I wanted to be comfortable shirtless. I had patchy hair growth on my chest and trimming was kinda old school and didnt give me that smooth look. I tried waxing on my armpits. Yes, I died every time I made the jerky pull. But then decided to get an epilator as its more time/money saving. First day I wanted to see the pain threshold and almost passed away. I stopped and next day took an ibuprof plus trimmed hair to 2mm. Pain was reduced 30%. Did the whole chest contrary to my plan of just half. Im also prone to ingrown hair but based on my research, scrubbing every week once, kojic acid soap bath and glycolic acid moisturizer once a week, and regular moisturing with moisturizer and topping with oil is what my routine is gonna be to keem my skin moisturized and clear of any debris. If I develop ingorwn hair, this product is still getting 5 stars coz it served the purpose.

Don’t hate or love it

I just got this so it may get a 5 star later on, currently I’m not 100% sold on if it’s worth it. On the legs it doesnt hurt super bad though I did shave recently so hairs are short stubble, now on the toes it’s a real b*txh. Haven’t tried on my face yet and that’s what I mostly got it for, I’m expecting some pain though. I think the longer the hair the more it hurts, I’d recommend using it on shorter hairs. Left me super itchy for an hour or 2 after using it which sucked. I don’t love that it’s corded, for some reason I assumed it was rechargeable(if it is, mine didn’t charge) which makes it a little inconvenient to use. Will be back at 1 week and then at 1 month to update my review!
