Not for using in shared space

I bought this light with the hopes to use it at bedtime to not wake my spouse while reading. However this is not a warm or narrow light. It is VERY bright. If you are using it in the same room and it's a decent size space I can see the light being considered more private, possibly. But the light puts out a ton of light, which may be good for some, but wasn't what I was hoping for to avoid waking my spouse

Bright light

I bought this book light so I could read books at night instead of falling asleep with the TV on. Instead I have been using this light to find things under the bed and in closets. It is a very bright light. I don't know if it has a good battery life or not because I have not used it for reading much. The Energizer battery that I put in it about 2 years ago is still going.

Great book light

So far this light is awesome! It fits well on a book and stays in place. It’s adjustable and gives off the right amount of light.

Worked for a short period.

Was disappointed, after having used it periodically the on switch failed doesn’t lock in the on position therefore rendering it defective. Tried to see if a replacement or return was available however nothing was possible.

Nice warm light

The LEDs used for this produce a very warm yellow/white light which is great for reading at night/low light. If the light was cheaper (I paid $13), it would have been 5 stars. The clip is strong and there is lots of adjustability if needed.

Perfect for night reading

Perfect little book light. My husband hates the bedside lamp on when he’s trying to sleep. This has solved that issue. This book light is lightweight, so it’s perfect to take away on vacation. And the battery life is great. Battery is still going strong after almost daily use for months.

works, light is actually good

The only issue I have with it is the hook is too small in comparison to the whole thing and that makes it fall frequently and move the light. other than that I like it
