Super cute & straw

I love the pink bottle and straw. As I have used it the pop open button has become very sensitive so I have to be careful when traveling with it to avoid it popping open and spilling-that’s why 4 stars and not 5. I use this everyday thought so it was what I was looking for.

Great design, great customer service

The Ello bottles for kids were highly recommended by America's Test Kitchen, so we got two for my 18 month daughter that she has loved and worked great, and held up to her abuse. This is the adult version and with a very similar design. The key features are the locking mechanism for tossing it in a bag, the drink spout has a covere keeping it clean, the Tritan material its made from is BPA free, and it's really durable. The first one I ordered had a manufacturing defect, I emailed the company and they handled it right away - great customer service.

Nice bottle but the lock function doesn’t always work

I like the mouth piece this bottle has and how easy it is to drink out of. However, the lock function doesn’t work very well so it pops open sometimes when I don’t want it to.

Lock top won’t last long/ bottle sweats profusely

I bought this water bottle to replace my plastic, insulated Camelbak water bottle (with sip top lid) that I’d had for about five years. I decided to try a different brand this time; I still wanted a plastic bottle. I liked the see through, light pink color, which was a change from my light grey Camelbak bottle. I also liked the fact that the Ello bottle had a flip top lid that could be locked; it had a removable straw. Unlike my Camelbak water bottle, the Ello bottle would “sweat” when ice was added to it. However, the biggest problem was the flip top lid. AFTER ONLY 3 DAYS the locking feature quit working! I sent an email to Ello’s customer support (a.k.a. Leapfrog Brands, as noted in the email reply) to inquire about the warranty. Here is an excerpt from the email that I got from Stephanie on Stephanie (Leapfrog Brands) Apr 25, 2021, 17:36 CST “Hello from Ello! Thanks so much for purchasing our bottle and for taking the time to write us. Unfortunately, we don’t currently have the replacement lid that you are requesting available for purchase. However, we are starting to sell replacement lids on our website. I'm sorry to hear about your lid. Since you took the time to write, we'd be happy to send you a replacement lid. Please note, we may not stock all replacement lid colors. We'll do our best to match your replacement to the color of your bottle or provide a neutral color.” So they don’t even have the correct lid. They were okay with possibly sending me a replacement lid that wasn’t a flip top, locking lid; and might not even match the color of the bottle. Ultimately, I decided to request a return of my purchase amount through Amazon (which was very customer friendly). My husband helped me find a new water bottle (from Camelbak no less). This time I went with a stainless steel, insulated water bottle, with a spout. I wasn’t sure that I’d like anything but a plastic, insulated one. However, this one is better than even my plastic one. It’s heavy, when it’s full of water, but that’s no big deal. Only the cap is dishwasher safe (bottle is hand wash only which is super simple). The first day I had it, I added 2 cups of ice, then filled it up with water. The next morning, most of the ice was still there and the water was so cold you could feel it on the outside of the bottle. Once you take the lid off, the bottle opening is wide enough to pour ice cubes into. There’s a bit of a handle grip, on the side of the lid. So, it’s easy to pick up and carry. The steel and the insulation keep the bottle 100% sweat free. I’m so glad that I returned the Ello bottle and had help finding the new Camelbak bottle. Lesson learned.. stick with a good brand for good products.

Choose another bottle if you're concerned about leakage

I purchased 2 of these; the closing and locking features for the top/lid are defective. The lid will pop open without warning when in locking position or the closed position. very disappointed

Bottle malfunction

I wrote a good review when I first got my bottles. A month after the top part stopped functioning properly.....the cap opens by itself even on the LOCK position and water leaks everywhere...Is that supposed to happen. I thought they were guaranteed to work. Can the company replace them...

Great water bottle

Love this water bottle. It’s easy to clean, doesn’t spill and the lock is a great feature. It’s doesn’t keep the water cold in any way but that’s not really An issue for me.

Great quality water bottle

The color is absolutely beautiful, very champagne esq! This water bottle feels of good quality, definitely leak proof and very easy to clean. I love the lock feature, just incase when I have it in my bag. It gives you the peace of mind that your not going to have liquid accidentally spilt all over your things. Recommended!

Beautifully designed with everything in mind

Beautiful bottle. Light. Easy to carry around. There's a lock on the side to prevent from accidentally opening the lid. Perfect for kids and adults. Overall my daughter is very happy.

Does NOT leak

I love this water bottle. It’s pretty, easy to drink out of with the straw and it does not leak at all, which is always my biggest complaint with water bottles.
