Really like it.

Overall I think it's great. Would have preferred the brown top. Also it was a bit pricey in my opinion. other than that great item would definitely recommend.

Durable and handy

I have had the identical water bottle for over 10 years. Pattern, color, everything. The only reason I just bought another one was because the rubber ring in the lid popped out and was lost. Now I wish they sold those separately. Maybe they do and I just haven't found them, but I figured a whole new bottle was only a little bit more than a replacement lid. And my plastic bottle had turned a little hazy. I still will keep it as a backup if need be. I try to be environmentally aware and know using a reusable bottle has saved a lot of single use plastic waste. Even though this is made of plastic, it has lasted me a really long time. Now this new one was constructed a little differently so I wanted to make sure it was legit. I filled both this one and my old one up with ice and water and sat them out side by side to make sure that they both held up the same. Thankfully the ice melted at the same rate. These bottles keep ice for many many hours and it's the only bottle I use for work. I have dropped the old one in the past a few times and luckily it didn't compromise anything. Oddly enough,I have never tried hot liquids in it. So I can't speak on that durability. I love the loop in the lid and the satisfying click to know your container is closed. I had to go on Amazon to get my old cherry blossom pattern since on their website it's different now.

Impossible Lid

I love the Tervis mug I have, so I thought I’d give this flip top water bottle as a gift to my mother. But once I got it I could tell it would never work for me, much less for my mother. The lid is just about impossible to get open. It actually hurts my hands when I’m trying. I can only imagine how it would feel for anyone who has arthritis. What good is being water-tight if you can’t get the water out when you need it? It’s really too bad, because the body of the Tervis glasses are nicely insulated and keep things cold or hot a long time. I’m also a fan of all the different designs. They just need to redesign the flip-style lid closure.

Fantastic water bottle, but wish the lid had a better latching/locking system

Look, this is a gorgeous water bottle. And I love the fact that it is dishwasher-safe. I've run it through the dishwasher several times and it still looks great. I want to give it five-stars, but I'm not all that happy with the lid. I mean, I love the fact that the lid protects the drinking spout. And I love the fact that spout is simple and easy to keep clean. But the lid has two problems: 1) It's not that easy to latch and 2) It doesn't feel like the latch is very sturdy. That's not a huge deal if you're just carrying around the bottle or keeping it in the cupholder of your car, but I wouldn't feel comfortable just tossing this bottle in a backpack. I'd be worried it would leak. The bottle is decently insulated. It's not going to keep ice frozen all day in the sun, but it definitely keeps drinks colder longer than a standard cup. And I haven't experience any issues with condensation on the outside of the bottle even if I use it to hold a cold drink on a hot, humid day. Bottom line -- I'm very happy with my purchase. I've even had people comment on how pretty the bottle looks, but I wish Tervis had engineered the lid just a bit better with a more secure latching/locking system.

Long time customer of Tervis

We have purchased countless sets and singles over the years from the Tervis line for home use and gifts; from the Tervis website, several different stores and kiosks and now finally here on Amazon. Have had good luck with most of them, just a few cracked tops and a couple of leaking cups over the years, but overall a great product and the line we use primarily for our own drinking glasses for home and travel, for our guests and gifts for teachers, friends and family, etc.

Perfect for us but not for all.

The lack of a straw made me VERY happy. This bottle has a hard plastic drinking spout and the lid has a flexible rubber circle on top that forms a seal on the opening. That being said, this bottle WILL leak if left on it's side because the seal is a very light one. This particular type of seal is great for eliminating spills when they bottle is accidentally turned on it's side and that makes it great for our needs. Something I didn't think about when buying this is that it would help increase my childrens' water intake. My teen daughter has switched to drinking water almost exclusively because of this cup. It gives her a goal as to how much she wants to drink in a day and she has adapted to it wonderfully! This is a change that I welcome whole-heartedly!

I really like this bottle. Doesn’t work to keep drinks cold like a stainless steel bottle - but it’s not bad. Beautiful design... nice to hold... drink spout is comfortable to drink out of... I really like it!
