Timesaving tool for deskbound professionals wanting to add exercise to their day

Like most reviews, I bought this unit to get in exercise while working. I really don't have time to devote to only walking, and trying to gain some efficiencies of time while sitting for long periods and offset the health impact of that. I already do a strength training regimen, and needed to add some light cardio without carving out additional time during the week for that. The good: It was easy to assemble, particularly when I realized the pedal bars flip up, which allows you to thread the nuts and tighten them without having to turn the unit over. It is quiet. Pedaling is smooth. Initial build quality seems really good; this appears to be a very solid piece of equipment. I've had it less than a week, so time will tell how well it holds up or how much maintenance it will need. It came with a strap to attach it to a chair if it seems to slide around, as well as some wheel chocks, although I don't seem to have that issue on my carpet. It also comes with a yoga band to work your arms, which compared to the resistance bands I already use is kind of worthless, but might be nice if you are just starting out. The not-as-good: I am a little disappointed about having to use a 3rd party app to track usage, especially ones that require a subscription. Will probably have to manually track through Fitbit, which is annoying. I don't particularly want another app anyway, but I'd rather have it automatically tracked. It isn't a deal breaker, but I'd appreciate a more integrated approach for this. Without a way to adapt to the tools I already have, the Bluetooth is worthless to me. ANT+ probably would have been a better choice. I'll experiment with it, and maybe can adapt another sensor externally to accomplish this.

Anchors aweigh!!

It's a very good workout but having hardwood floors, I have to anchor it down with the strap. Use a good chair!! My legs feel better afterward. Much more sturdy than I thought and a really good machine. Kudos!

Great, but creaks, seller is amazing

*Edit to add that the seller is amazing at making up for the issue I’ve had. 100% would buy from them again.* It works great. I love it, but I can’t get it to stop creaking. It’ll start then stop and it seems like every morning it starts up again. Quite a bit annoying because that’s when I need it the most quiet. When it doesn’t creak, it’s noise level is fine. It light swishing noise, but nothing that many can hear. I’ve used it while being on work meetings and no one hears anything. It’s only when it’s creaking that it causes me issues. Please help.

Exercise has never been easier

It has the tension so you can adjust it. Nice big pedals for big feet. Comes with mat which keeps it from sliding. Pricing is just about right.

Perfect elliptical exerciser for sedentary people- Worth price!

I'm elderly and obese, with high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. I use this elliptical exerciser throughout my waking hours to increase circulation, increase heart rate, and reduce blood pressure. Bonus is I'm breathing easier, not getting out of breath doing simple tasks. My sleep is more restful at night because I'm getting some exercise although I'm seated. Not sure but my glucose feels more balanced than before I bought the elliptical exerciser. I highly recommend this elliptical exerciser for any age group. It keeps your circulatory system active even while you do other work while seated.

Nice, but Bluetooth might not be sending accurate data

I like it, but the Bluetooth is not giving correct data to Zwift. Like when cycling at an rpm of 95, Zwift thinks I’m going 120 rpm. It could also be monitor is off, not sure.

Great for the circulation

I purchased the Flexstride to improve my circulation and keep my legs from swelling after hours of sitting/teaching online. I have just received it so my experience is limited. I think it will help me achieve better circulation and keep my joints more flexible.

Very Convenient

Extremely convenient to use! Makes "low activity" moments like working at a desk all day feel more productive. Also enjoy using while watching TV at the end of the night. The built in handle is a great feature!

Great exerciser!

Now I can train while working in front of the computer! My Flexstride was easy to assemble. It is very quiet and easy to move with the integrated handle. Large and easy to read LCD display. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

Great Exercise elliptical Bike

Ok, I am using the Lifepro elliptical as write this review. I received the elliptical very quickly. Once I freed the unit from the box, it was really really well packed, all I had to do was to attach the flat pedals, park it under my desk, and start pedaling. It is a very smooth and quiet machine. It is extremely solid. They also provided a mat that fits perfectly under the unit and yes, the unit does not slide around when you are pedaling. So, set-up was a dream. I am 63 and I was just barely able to lift the unit and move it to the spot where I wanted to use it. It is heavy, an older person might need help to move it. But this just shows how solid the unit is for a workout. I wear the Fitbit Charge 5, so whenever I get zapped by the watch, I get on my chair and start pedaling. I really like this purchase, and I am glad I chose this particular elliptical bike. LiseG

This is quite handy and solid and will be a welcome addition

This is being used to supplement my treadmill which we use twice daily. This machine will be helping some of the other muscles not being developed by the treadmill. This machine was quickly put together and ready for use. There is a QR code sticker on the device for you to download 3 apps that work with it. The first one apparently is free and the other two are not. It was easy to set up the free app and it will record via Bluetooth your workout. It will keep a running total on the machine as well, but if you are going to use it for two people as we are, you will have to record the workouts on the app and reset the machine after each use. Then the second person opens their app and does their workout which it records. Then they reset as well. So that solves that problem. Then there is our iFit subscription from the treadmill. It will not connect via Bluetooth, obviously, but you can run a workout on your iPad for example and use it with the machine. So you can still bike with the trainers - but you have to manually adjust. Anyway, it seems to be a good choice
