Pointy stuff is an issue if like me, you don’t want washed articles to touch the bottom of the sink.

See photo: bottom of this has openings that are a little too big. I prefer a stainless steel mesh, but wasn’t able to find one. Otherwise it drains well.

A beautiful kitchen accesory

Gotta admit, I was hesitant to spend the money on this little basket because of the cost. But since I had the Elkay rinse basket and wanted a better option than just laying out utensils on the bottom of it, I sprung for this. This is a very high-quality accessory, polished stainless steel throughout and crafted with attention to detail. I was especially impressed with how the ends of the vertical bars are beveled and rounded where they meet the top wire rim. If Tiffany's decided to silver-plate this thing, they could sell it for 10 times as much. Too bad this caddy is placed inside the rinse basket where it's not easily visible - it really deserves to be seen to be appreciated!

A must have add on, great size, doesn’t take up too much room, a bit pricey but it is a must have.

Elkay LKWUCSS stainless steel Wavy Wire Utinsil Caddy

I ordered this basket to go with my new sink and strainers. I am happy with the quality of the Utinsil Caddy. It is not flimsy at all. The reason I give it only 3 stars is that it is "very" expensive in my opinion for the size of it. It is really quite small and therefore I do not think it is worth the purchase price.
