Thicker than stated, brand doesn't inspire confidence

This is indeed 304 stainless steel, so they get points for that. My 8-32 screws threaded in just fine as well, so more points for that as well. Diameter seems to match specs, but thickness is a bit off (close to 10% off). They don't specify tolerances on their stated measurements, so I can't really say whether it's within their company tolerances or not. Aside from the dimensions being a bit off, the other reason I took off a star is because of the brand. I have overall been quite disappointed with this "SNUG FASTENERS" brand. I have received quite a few of their products for review, and only ONE of them has so far met exactly the listing specifications for material composition and dimensional tolerances! I would not trust this brand in the future. They seem to be a US-based importer of cheap asian mass-produced goods. They are based in TN and seem to import and re-package a bunch of cheap asian goods, without doing their own QC. They also seem to operate under the names: BC Precision; SEIDO Sharpeners; BCP Fasteners; VOLV Precision; Zensation. If they show the same care and QC for their other brands as they do for "SNUG FASTENERS", I would avoid them all. Given the quality of the other products I've received, I would not be surprised if there is significant batch-to-batch variation in these fasteners, or if the product you might receive has dimensions quite off from what I've posted.

I haven't had a bad experience with Snug fasteners yet. These are no exception. It's great to have a good online source for (especially specialty) hardware. Thus far, I've been keeping and using the little containers that their products come in. Suggestion is that they also label the front of the containers so the consumer can search a stack easier for what they're looking for.
