Neat Artsy Activity

I got this for my 7 year old because she loves arts and crafts. It seemed to be a little challenging for her to grasp at first, but after carefully and slowly reading the instructions a few times, she figured it out. She taught her 4 year old brother and he managed to figure it out and enjoy it as well, his art is pictured in this review. They both spent almost an hour just creating things and re-doing them again. It is well made and the strings are made like shoe strings, they seem really sturdy, so all the popping them in and out of the holes shouldn't wear them out. It seems as if we will get many opportunities of play with this activity. If there are any changes I will post an update.

Good to keep the kids busy without a mess.

At first I was a little confused. After playing with it for a while I realized how it works and that it isn't a typical thread it though type product. You just stick the point of the "pencil" with the string sticking out into the board and it will catch the string and you pull up to puck I different location. The white board is a flexible material. I plan on bringing this on our long car trip next week! Cute product.

It is really fun to play with for most ages.

I have really enjoyed playing around with this. Even though it is called junior string art, I still think experts would enjoy playing with it. There are red, green, blue, and yellow strings, two for each color, and they are a good length. The included stylus used to make the string art is easy to thread and nice to hold. It is also transparent so you can see how close you are to running out of thread. The two boards included are small but easy to attach to make one bigger board. This would be a good thing for people to teach their Preschoolers shapes and letters with. I would say this is easier to use than lacing cards.

EASY and fun!

This is a super easy lacing toy that comes with everything you need to make awesome art! Got this for my oldest (10 years old) who struggles with the fine motor skills needed for things like crochet, cross stitch, etc. This is going to help him to get the mind-body connection needed to move on to those sorts of arts. It's as easy as taking the plastic 'needle' (like a hollow pen) and threading in the provided string, and then you simply press the needle to the board where you want the thread to stick and it sticks! You just keep going to make patterns, letters, numbers, shapes, whatever!

Cute kit

My 6 year old wanted this first sewing kit. I had to help her figure this out. You weave the thread through large plastic board with a non sharp plastic needle to make an image. She needed help at fist but quickly caught on. Would make a nice gift.

I Stitched a HEART in under 1 minute! Awesome idea and great project for any age.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great project by edx education. What a great experience to teach cross stitch or beginning embroidery. This is an easy STEM project for quick learning. Art project or extra time. You can create and pull apart and restart with another idea. This is unlimited ideas and the boards can be placed on top of each other or side by side. This is just a shoestring. We did try it with a shoestring and it works the same. Would be great to use with glitter shoes strings, fat shoes strings for multiple designs and ideas. We would place this definatly in 5 and up category since this is easy for a 5 year old to understand. This is product is easy to use with minimal hand strength needed, people relearning hand to eye coordination or those that can no longer cross stitch or embroidery due to hand strength. Again this is a big winner and should win any awards coming its way. This would fit great in any Montessori, special education, or art class. We added to our bus to use with other games or just to play with when we need to fill in extra free time.

Great for kids!!

I got this craft to do with my niece and we had a great time!! It was a bit hard for her to understand at first, but once she got the hang of it she had a lot of fun. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. If you're looking for something a little bit different, this is a great idea that provides hours of entertainment.
