Recomended Lipo Bag For Serious People

Hello. I have been in the RC hobby for alsmost 20 years now and been through more lilpo bags then you can imagine. I currently have 6 Lipo bateries. All with different mah/cells/c raings. When I first started I had a small budget and purchased a liposack for 5$ in my local hobby shop. 1 year later I had my first lipo puff. The lipo was a 2sell 5000mah 30c. Only smoked but was extremely hot!! And melted right through the bag like paper! The same hour I came on amazon and purchased expensive "name brand" lipo bags. They are about the same quality as the Chinese lipo sack. For the past 5 years I've been using dynamite lipo bags because I truly trust this compony. There are many test on the web with this lipo bag. The bag doesn't melt or flame. Only releases smoke because of pressure. I personally had a fire in one of my dynamite bags and I watched the whole process! Bag held up strong and prevented any flames to leave the bag. I highly recomed this bag to anyone who actually cares. When storing lipos, I always fill the bag up with sand and put my lipos in there, then place it on top of a bucket of dry sand, so if there was a fire you can poor a bit of sand and helps a lot with cooling and smoke. A+! I am not a paid commotion employee for amazon. I am just a man who cares what people are buying.

Um, yeah, how are you suppose to use these?

The battery balance connector is too short to put the battery in the bag and let the balance connector stick through the bag to charge it. I need an extension cable to charge it. I will have to get an extension. Even the reviews I saw on youtube were with people stripping the battery wires, wire nutting them together with an extension cord, and applying enough energy that they explode. Way to go bag! But how about some real world application? If anyone tried to use this the right way, it would be discovered right away that you need an extension cable... It will be great to store the batteries in to transport them in the car, but it is called a "charging bag" A port at the bottom corner of the bag would work great so that you could stick the JST connector out...

Good value, good size

Big enough to hold at least two, maybe three 5000 mah 2S hard case lipos (I only have one, but there's ample room left in there). The material of the bag is quite thin, which does make me wonder about its ability to contain a serious fire, but it seems well constructed and quite durable. The Velcro on the flap is wide and strong, and forms a pretty good seal. There's just enough room unsealed at the bottom of the flap for the cords to stick out while charging. Overall, I'm quite happy with the bag and price.

Very happy with the purchase and would buy again

I use this protection bag with the Holy Stone® 5-In-1 Max 2.5A Current Input Fast Battery Charger to charge five 3.7V 380mAh LiPo batteries for my Hubsan X4 quadcopter. It gives me a little more peace of mind that I'm protecting my countertops and home in the event one or more of the batteries might be faulty and create a fire in my absence. It's a bit larger than a standard page of notebook paper and has a velcro sealable flap. Very happy with the purchase and would buy again.

very large holds six batteries for me.

Lipo bag for charging lipos. Luckily haven't had the chance to check out fire retardant material but I'm sure it works. It can easily hold my 3 3s lipos for 1/10 slash and enough room for my 1/16 slash batteries also. I not only charge them in the bag but also store all of them in it too. Only have one in the bag while charging unless you want to burn all your lipos at once. Again it can hold 3; 3s 5000mah lipos along with 3; 2s 2000mah lipos.

Must have acessory for charging LiPo batteries

For fire prevention when charging LiPo's this bag is essential. It's easy to use and the flap is held closed by velcro. I replaced my ceramic bowl that I previously used for battery charging. Never leave a charging battery unattended even with a bag.

Exactly what it said it was.

They seem to be made well and are as described. However, I also bought a generic bag that looks similar for half the cost that seems to be just as good. I don't think there's anything wrong with these but unless you like the look and branding I'd go with the less expensive option.

Nice and Thick

The page is well made, the velcro is very strong. I haven't lit anything on fire inside of it to see if it really works, but I don't have a doubt that it would. The bag is larger than I though, I can easily store four 3s 5000mah lipos in it.
