Works for what I wanted
I mixed this with epoxy, a small amount of this, to weight a cat toy that originally came with some sort of plaster like material in the base and didn't stay upright. This is the real deal. Very fine tungsten powder. I made up maybe a tablespoon of goop and used it to upgrade the toy. Now it always sits upright.

A MUST HAVE PRODUCT IF YOU SWINGWEIGHT YOUR OWN CLUBS
This is a must have product to adjust swingweight on my clubs. You want tungsten because of its density over lead powder. It requires less to get the weight you need. To use this yourself you need some Maltby or Golfsmith tools. You need a ramrod, corks either for steel or graphite, smidgen of epoxy, A tool to open up the grip end hole) It is easy to do and a set can be done in under an hour. I have been building clubs for years, but this year I bought a new set of Taylormade clubs that had too light a swingweight. That is, the clubhead was hard to feel in the swing. They felt too light. These new irons were C8 to C9, almost a woman's measurement. Standard men's used to be D3, but today with Graphite, D1 is more typical. To get from C8 to D1 meant putting about 8 grams of tungsten powder down the shaft, and securing it with a cork. (put a little epoxy on the cork, hold it to the tip of the ramrod, and drive it down the inside of the shaft. The powder stays down where you want it.)

Yup. Normal powder.
Standard goods.

Pretty sure this is tungsten disulfide
If you buy this with the assumption it is elemental you will be disappointed but for its intended purpose almost certainly works great and will be what I do with it if I can't think of any other project using a solid phase lubricant greatly exceeding graphite in density. I really do think that the distributor needs a wag of the finger for being to lazy to just call it what it is with its entire name

Great for Golf Clubs
Bought this in order to change the swing weight of my golf clubs. The stuff works great and is surprisingly heavy for what little there is in the jar. My only complaint is that it is a bit messy, since its powder. Obviously the user factors in to all of this, but including some sort of applicator wouldn't hurt. Will buy again when I run out.

Excellent for swing weighting golf clubs.
I use this instead of lead powder for adjusting the swing weights of golf clubs. The tungsten powder is quite heavy, and I don't worry about fumes, etc. as much when subsequently heating the heads for removal. With care, one can achieve very high precision in swing weight adjustment.

My powder measured 14.31 gm/cm3
Because of previous reviews, I checked density by weighing 10 ml of powder. it weighed 143.1 grams, which is reasonably close to tungsten carbide.

Works as intended. Would buy again!

Great product, but 8 oz is too little for practical purposes.
I wanted to use this material to weight my chess pieces. 8 oz divided into 32 pieces = 1/4 oz per piece. the delivered Powder jar is 99% empty, so Dynacraft should put a bit more Tungsten dust into each jar e.g. 16 oz or 32 oz

Not As Heavy As I Needed
I was planning to use the powder to counter weight a model I'm building. I found that for a given volume, lead birdshot was actually heavier. I guess the powder fluffs up a bit and I was not able to compact it. I have since purchased #9 tungsten birdshot and it is noticeably heavier than lead birdshot of the same size.
