Works great
Works great, lightweight, portable. Husband wanted heater for small hunting lodge. Served our purpose perfectly. Main thing to know is to ensure proper ventilation, because a necessary safety feature will shut it off if not well ventilated. That can be bothersome, but brings us some security knowing this feature works without fail so far!

Cookin' with gas now...
This is one fine heater...after you take a little time and figure out the functions on the control knob. Starts easy (after initial gas line purge), and the heat control is great...lowest setting gives me a room temp of approximately 60 degrees, and it goes up about 1 or 2 degrees per click after that. I don't use it past the number "2" on the knob, as I get an easy 72 degrees at that point. There was a little odor at first, but it was gone after one day. Seems to be good on fuel, and I really like the feel of the warmth from the gas heater as opposed to the central electric heating. It may or may not be more economical than electric, but I will have see about that later. For now, very nice, rather attractive heater and flame.

Good heater
Installed in my woodshop. Its in a barn thats 100+ years old. Its up in rural Maine so very cold. Been subzero recently in mornings and once I give it one or two hrs the shop will be in the 30s or low 40s which is good enough to start work. Doesn't burn through too much fuel. Shops drafty so I don't expect it to get very warm no matter the heat source. This was very easy to install. I have it backed by concrete board and firesafe insulation. Bought some good silicone tape to ensure no leaks. Bought mr heater universal gas connector kit. Just bought the 10,000 btu version for a smaller section of the barn.

ok but smells unlike BFSS30LPT-4p
I first bought the BFSS30LPT-4P and very happy with it. smelled the first week and afterwards all good, still working just fine. I had smaller space and decided to go with the same brand just less BTUs so bought BFSS20LPT-4P 20,000 BTU which continued to smell all the time. I would recommend to buy the thermostatic BFSS30LPT-4P to avoid the smell issue. Otherwise they good heaters

Jme demandais ci un régulateur simple suffit...parce-que mon appareil ne veux pas fonctionner ci il et au froid dans une cabane à pêche ci un régulateur double changerait ma ....situation le thermostat n'a pas l'air à aimer le démarrage au froid,,,,,effectivement g essayer un régulateur double et il fonctionne très bien je le recommande

Appareil brisé lors de sa réception?
Lorsque j'ai déballé le système de chauffage, j'ai constaté que le côté était bossé et le support arrière était brisé? Pour le support, le problème est au niveau de la soudure par point qui est fautive. J'ai moi-même réparé le support et débossé l'appareil comme j'ai pu. Lorsque j'ai effectué la réparation, je me suis aperçu que la grille noire sur le devant n'était pas même fixée? Les pattes de fixation n'était pas pliées sur la grille? La qualité de ce produit est très douteuse, en espérant que je n'aurez pas d'autres surprises lors de sa mise en fonction. Très décevant.

Works like a champ
This thing works as advertised. I was able to hook it up to a 20lb tank with a hose with a regulator and a 3/8 taper to 3/8 brass adapter. It heats my insulated 20x20 garage to a comfortable temp in about 20 mins. Only drawback is that the room becomes very humid so it does make some of my metal tools a bit rustier than normal. Still worth it to be cozy warm while I’m working out there. Highly recommend.
