Cheaper then Carhart just as warm, and durable but way more comfortable!

Comparable to Carhartt, Berne, Schmidt, and other duck canvas jackets. With more features. The stuff that I love about the jacket: it doesnt have that new canvas coat feeling like you get with carhartt. It's softer and lighter then most similar jackets but just as warm. The hood fits tighter and it's warmer. Seems very durable and the camo is very colorful. The lining is very warm. The fit is spot on. I'm 5 ft 8 235, and I got room for a sweatshirt underneath. The zipper is easy to operate and has more teeth (not sure how it will hold up over time but I have a good feeling) The elastic around the wrists and bottom of coat is superior to any other comparable coat brand I ever seen. More water resistant then Carhartt. Things I dislike: (These are very minor but I wanna point them out) Only one interior pocket. (its does have two slots though) Made in China. Now I know most of the coat brands are exported. Schmidt (Bangladesh) Berne (Imported) Carhartt (Mexico) (you can get lucky and get USA made carhartt if you look hard enough) That's the only cons. Summary of review: Some reviews say it's better then Carhartt. Don't set your expectations high and think this thing will be twice the jacket Carhartt is. It's comparable to carhartt with extra features that may no matter to you. However this is about $30 (give or take) cheaper then Carhartt brand real tree camo jacket. Truth be told it's just as warm, durable but more comfortable then Charhartt. I'd recommend this coat (no matter the color) to anyone.

Really Nice! Just One Little Thing Though...

Bought this for my fiancé for Christmas because he wanted a Carhartt jacket. Unfortunately Carhartt only has the Mossy Oak camouflage pattern, not the Real Tree Xtra camouflage that his hunting gear is made up of. This is a really great dupe for Carhartt! Super thick, super warm, true to size. The only thing is that the pattern, I think, is actually upside down...you can see the little antlers that indicate the brand that say “Real Tree” are all upside down. Not a huge deal, my fiancé doesn’t care, but some people might which is why I included it in this review!

Best Jacket I've Owned in Years!

I live in the Sierra Nevada Mountains at 4,000' where it's snowing today. I love this jacket! Its comfortably warm, great fit for a guy who is 240 lbs. and 5'10". Would recommend it as a gift or for yourself. Love it!

MASSIVE HOOD

The jacket seems well made. It seems true to size, except for the massive hood. I tried on the Dri-Duck Altitude jacket and put the hood up and I could not see in front of me. If you want to see with the hood up, you will definitely need to wear at least a baseball cap. I contacted Dri-Duck about the fit. They told me "it is designed to be oversized to allow room for layering while keeping the elements out". This is not a winter jacket. I don't want to "layer" to have the hood fit correctly. I think if I have to "layer" during only cool weather, I will get too hot. We shall see.The only adjustment to the hood is to pull the front closed around your face. ADDED NOTE: The seams leaked in rainy weather!

Great for outdoor hunting

Warm, durable, and quiet for hunting. It's not waterproof, so don't expect to stay dry in a downpour. And it doesn't compress well, so you'll need extra space in your pack. Other than that, this is a great jacket

bought it as a gift for someone and thought very seriously about not giving it to them,fell in love with the ease of wear and toughness of this jacket,but lucked up and they saw how much i liked it and they bought me the same jacket as a gift also.
