Dr. Ph.

Prodotto negli Stati Uniti. Ottimo per correggere errori con piccole linee e punti. Incredibile potere coprente su carte nere e scure. Linea sottile coprente bianca studiata per penne tecniche e aerografo. Pen-White in una bottiglia di vetro da 1,0 once con contagocce.

Perfect
I use it for details on my watercolor paintings.

Great Product!
This product is a blessing in disguise, it comes in very handy when you make a mistake when you are doing an art project like painting a picture! You can cover the mistake and paint over it similar to a typewriter whiteout product. It can also be used to put highlights on things too!

Great for splatter
I got tired of mixing acrylic paint, gesso, or gouache with water for splattering on my handmade greeting cards and junk journal projects. Getting the right ratio was hit or miss, and these supposedly opaque mediums would pick up the color underneath and nearly disappear after they dried. And after all that, I had a puddle of leftover mixture to clean up. This ink is exactly what I hoped it would be! I can dip it right out of the bottle with a brush to eliminate the leftover waste, and it creates droplets that dry quickly and STAY BRILLIANT WHITE on top of my projects. The droplets range from tiny to medium; a bigger brush and/or a braver flick might be able to make bigger splotches, but I'm satisfied with the little ones.

Wonderful!!
The media could not be loaded. I’m a calligrapher and have been using Dr. Ph. Martin’s inks for many years. I usually use the white bleed proof ink but have to dilute it with water every time so I decided to try the pen white ink & I love it! There is no need to add water, the ink is ready to use, and the it’s opaque bright white!! I would recommend this ink! Sea & Sun Calligraphy ♥️

Thank you the great care that was put into shipping this ink ❤️
This is the best white ink and the seller shipped it so well packaged to ensure no breakage or leaks

Not as opaque as I would have liked.
I could have used white-out. But it didn’t seem artsy enough so I ordered Dr. Ph Martin’s pen-white. Hmm.

Old stock??
Ink just arrived and there was a bunch dried in the dropper and also the bottle. Any chance of a newer bottle so I don't run the risk of ruining my pen?

Pretty good, but read this for comparisons
It’s very good ink — much less ‘paint-like’ than the many others I’ve tried. It says you can run it in a technical pen over .25 size, I did this in a .35 rotring isograph and it worked for about 2 hours before getting completely clogged. I have yet to find a white ink that runs for appreciable length of time in tech pens, and it was much, much harder to wash out than rotring’s own white ink. If you do buy this to run in a technical pen, I would make sure you never try and use it in a Steadler Mars technico as they have a smaller weight and chamber, and taller but narrower threads on the helix — they will block super fast with this stuff compared to a rotring. I intend to try it in an isograph with a small amount of water added next time my work calls for it. It works fine with a Hunt 102 nib in a dip pen, and doesn’t seem to require dilution for this. It’s more opaque than PH martin’s own bleed proof white or Bombay India ink white, and way more opaque than Winsor and Newton drawing ink in white. It’s on a par for opacity with Rotring white tech pen ink, but it’s a slightly brighter white. Posca and Gelly roll pens are both brighter and more opaque. When you scan a drawing with it on and leave all your settings flat it will tend towards a blue hue compared to any paper. You can colour pick it and it heads into the blue range. It seems to be highly waterproof. It’s not actually supposed to be, but it is for me. You can’t draw over it easily with India ink pens or a carbon ink fountain pen. If you do it doesn’t take fine lines or hatching well and can look messy. If you go over it you need to do it with a brush and leave it sit until it dries on top of this white ink — it never sinks in. All this said, it’s one of the better white ink options I’ve tried so far.

A sought after item
An artist friend said he was having trouble finding this. I hope he finds it a wonderful surprise in his Christmas bag. He has used it in the past and it is his fav of the white inks. **UPDATE** A most welcome Christmas gift. He was just thrilled and sat and told me about how much he loves this brand of ink.

True opaque
Flows brilliantly, does not clog and is great opaque for highlights

Nice
The ink is fairly white, and it doesn't have much of a bothering smell to it. It is a little thick to be put directly onto a dip pen, so I'd recommend to thin it out a little first.
