Vibrant and beautiful colour!
Using this ink in my sketch/drawing class for ink wash added to my ink pen drawings. The attached photo does not have anything to do with the class, it’s just me goofing around. Including it to show how vibrant the colour is.

Gorgeous n
These inks are stunning! Not just the gold and silver but the black and white are also smooth, opaque, and flow smoothly. They don't bleed and they dry down quickly. The gold is more of a glitter consistency and is very rich; the silver is very smooth and fine, with no glitter to it but a satiny shine. Very impressed- I'll be recommending these to friends for sure, and trying the rest of Winsor and Newton's drawing inks.

Ok but problems with the yellow
Generally ok but the yellow color had a lot of percipitants and was very diluted in color. I guess that was most of the pigmant were in this residue

I really like these
This set of inks is great. The color selection is fantastic, the quality and pigmentation is great, I honestly think if I were more experienced with inks and better at using them this would be 5 stars. Im still learning so Ive been struggling with some things. For instance, Im used to painting with watercolor and in school used sumi inks. I tried painting with these in that way and learned the ink likes to completely soak to the other side of multiple kinds of watercolor paper. I have been experimenting with using dip pens with these for lineart, painting with diluted ink for shading (because they are waterproof once dry so I can glaze watercolor over them) and so far its been a really really fun experience! It would be nice if info or demos were available like in a paper pamphlet or something in the package but its not necessary as these are very easy to play with and learn with and a little goes such a long way Ive had these for months now and the bottles are still pretty full. Perhaps when I get better with them or try other inks for comparison Ill come back and add to this review, but for now I really enjoy these.

Calligraphy on Black Paper Was Pretty Good For Me
I read some reviews this ink wasn't good for Calligraphy but this was not my experience with it. I found it to be highly visible and quite fluid. I was careful however to shake the ink well before and during use. I also cleaned the nib with water (and dried it) a couple of times during the application so it didn't build up or get goopy on the nib (which was the complaint I read about it not being good for calligraphy). I'm pretty happy with this ink.

Vibrant, versatile, nice presentation, nice to mix and blend and good price.
The media could not be loaded. I bought Henry Collection pack and love the vibrancy of colors. I bought them for painting and nib pen and modern calligraphy. I was hoping I could use them for lineart before watercolors but, as you can see in the video, all of them (except for the black) bleed. Brown doesn't bleed too much, so it can work if you are careful not to brush heavily on top of it. Things I really loved is that you can mix them to create new colors, you can also blend them while applying (like the green/blue/yellow on the leaf of the video) and they can dry as smooth blends (although it dries fast). When diluted with water you can create soft pastels which are still vibrant. The way they look reminds me of copic markers, so I will use them as a cheaper alternative. Because of all the uses I can give to them (painting with them similar to watercolors, or for calligraphy or even instead of alcohol ink markers), I would definitely recommend them. Also because of how pigmented these inks are. I have noticed that some reviews mention that a bottle leaked. In my case, it was sent to NY, then it traveled to Finland and my inks arrived in perfect condition. I'm really happy with them!

Ink-credible
Winsor and Newton drawing ink is, in a word, incredible. This is one of two sets, but aside from both having black their colors are a bit different. I believe the Henry collection pack has slightly darker tones and more secondary colors while the William collection is brighter. Both sets are boldly colored and will definitely pull their weight while drawing with them. Regarding the ink itself, it's dye-based and has a range of applications. You can do line art, paint (ink?) in colors, use a dipping pen for writing (do NOT use a fountain pen, it wasn't made for this kind of ink!), and if you're daring you could also mix the colors together for new combinations. If you need a light tone, simply thin it out with water. All colors are water resistant once they're on the page, so they will not be smearing easily. The ink dries reasonably quickly, doesn't bleed, and its transparency allows for colors to be layered on top of one another for added depth. My only gripe is that neither set has a dedicated light skin tone (the image used Copics for that instead), but it's just a nitpick. If you're serious about drawing with ink, Winsor and Newton is definitely worth the price and a brand to keep in mind. Inktober may be over, but I believe I'll still be using these inks for a long while.

Speedy delivery, pretty boxes and quality product.
I am using these inks for polymer clay, air dry clay, water color paper painting and more. I always knew this company made great products from 53 years as an artist, I won't buy from any other company now. Spend the money, don't expect this quality by spending less.

Beautiful
Love these inks, but they’re not water based I think….kind of smell…. And they dry shiny not matte. But I really love them and cost effective. So… your choice.

Great ink even for a beginner like me!
I had never used Ink in my life before and had started to get tired of using watercolours since I wanted to start changing my style. After research about inks and being suggested by my tutor that they were good for creating nice solid colours and blends, I decided to buy these!. They are amazing to use and the colours come out really nice especially on watercolour paper. I would advise though if you are new to inks, you need to be quick as they dry very quickly once on paper! Overall I love them very much!

The best ink in my opinion!
I've tried so many different inks and i cannot stress enough how amazing this ink is! It's thickness, viscosity & quality is unmatched by other brands. The results speak for themselves.

Great thought out set.
Been using them for a while now and think they very versatile, used the lots of way other then just as for ink drawing. they mix nicely and it's a fine range of colours. On just how they look..... nice little pots (great art-work) sit well on the art table, not as if that's important but-their-you-go. Have marked them down to four stars because of only the black being light-fast, shame that but a great little set none-the-less and very good value.
