So far, so good

Working well, but time will tell. We live on a lake front with large waves that can make docking the boat in the boat house quite challenging ! More than once we've hit the traditional air filled 3/4 round corner protectors on the dock and STILL ended up popping up over the top of that bumper and damaging the boat. These corner protectors project further out from the corner post allowing the boat to push off the bumper as it goes into the dock slip. Time will tell whether these will deteriorate and break under the stress of the boat bumps, but right now, this is exactly what we needed. As for install, we had some issues with installing these to secure to our banding boards surrounding the posts as the top decking board overlapped 1/4 inch gap for install but with some minor carpentry adjustments, we have them securely in place.

Good quality, quick delivery

The dock bumper is of good quality and works perfectly for my needs. We have a 22’ pontoon boat and it easily diverts the boat away from the dock corner when coming in too close.

These seem like a good quality product time will tell Most dock bumpers are so expensive it’s hard to know whether the bomb or not this was so inexpensive I rolled the dice and I’m happy with the product that I received so far

Dock Edge Guard

Like most reviewers have stated, these are hard. If you are expecting these to be mushy like fenders, well they're not. It protects you from hitting the dock edge. If you can imagine the hardness of an over-inflated basketball, that's about where you're at. If it's too mushy it would not protect you/your boat from hitting too hard. It does have a nice rounded shape which is much better that hitting the dock 90-degree edge. If you want soft you can use fenders. If you want something to protect the boat when the wind and currents are 'helping', this is a good alternative. Fenders aren't going to help much when a 4000 pound boat is coming in too hot.

The picture does not match the product

While this product should work fine for my application the picture is not what you get when ordered. You get a small then side bumper, hence the last part of the description, I wanted the product pictured which I did not get. I had to visit the Dock Edge site, which was also a little confusing on which one this was a picture of, but finally received the correct one. Overall the product is excellent, just be cautious of what you are ordering...

don't need many

Two are all you need for 20-24 ft boat if placed where the boat makes contact with the dock.Because they are thick they hold the boat off fine.3ft foward of the stern and just past mid ship towards the bow.
