A sturdy good value.

If you use this for the purpose for which it was built, you will not be disappointed! It is not a walker that is meant for you to put all your weight on. Those of you who need the heavy duty support, will have to make do with a walker. If you need light support and need to walk but do not have the stamina to go far without sitting down, then this is ideal for you. Think of it as a stroller that you can sit on. It is not meant in any way for you to sit on it and roll yourself around. If you use it this way and you have an accident or break a wheel, then it is on you not the Rollator. It is very sturdily made, but only within it's boundaries. The seat is wonderfully wide for me. And I am a widebody myself! The seat is high enough that unless you are 6' plus, you will be sitting with your rear and most of your upper thighs on the seat but with them slanting down slightly so that it is a snap to get out of. And this is from a gal that has to make several tries to get out of a reasonably sized office chair. This is a good thing, because, remember the caution about not using the handles to hold all your weight? If it was lower, it would require help to push yourself up. Here you only lean forward and stand. Lovely! The wheels are hard rubber and have great traction and are super easy to roll. Make sure you follow instructions and adjust the hand breaks. Just like a bicycle, you need to set the tightness of the cable. It should close easily and it should not take a lot of down pressure to lock the brakes. If it is hard and you force it, you might break something. Just a little adjustment is all that is needed. Ask someone who has a bicycle or look up adjusting bicycle hand brakes on YouTube. Within 5 minutes of having it out of its box it was assembled. Five minutes after that, I had attached a velcro strip to lock it closed for easy handling in and out of the car. You could also use a small bungee cord or just a string to tie it with, but it does need something to hold it shut. It is very easy to open and close, Just pull lightly on the front and back and push down on the center bar and it locks into place. To close it, there is a handle of sorts that hangs down from the back of the seat to the center bar. Just pull that up and it folds real easy. The basket can be kept under the seat or hung on the back for easy access when using it, but needs to be lifted off for storage or placing it into the car. There is plenty of stride room when you are pushing it. You won't have to shuffle along or risk hitting your shins on it. I can't stride (yet) but I do want to take reasonable steps and with this I can, and then some. This is such a well constructed and sturdy unit I doubt that any of your will be sorry for getting it. All in all I am very pleased with this unit. I look forward to using it for a long time and passing it on when i am through with it. This was sold by Duro-Med and shipped by Amazon via UPS. Who knew it would be a great help for gardening?

This is a wonderful help for my yard chores because my property is sizeable and uneven, and I not only need help with balance and a place to rest, I want to carry things with me. I have the smaller version in the house so I'll compare the two. I had the regular sized one outside, but when I injured my knee, I needed it inside and getting it in an out of the house wasn't something I could manage. The regular sized one works well for getting through doorways and such inside that this one is too wide for, but as I get into gardening for the spring, I realized it would be better to have a wider one that I could keep in the garage for that purpose. This rollator seat is wider and higher so when I have to rest between gardening efforts, it's ideal to plunk down on even while wearing bulky clothes. The regular size is rather snug for my overweight size and the extra effort to sidle myself into it to sit when tired was something I didn't need. The regular size is about the width of a narrow airplane seat, but this one is much more generous. The greater seat height has two advantages. Of course it's better for taller people, but even at 5'3" it's not only reasonable, but really helps me rise after sitting--a boon to my arthritic knees--and the basket underneath is higher and better positioned so it's much easier to access. things I've brought along for my work. The wide seat not only accommodates me better, it holds large bags of soil or a flat of flowers to plant, garden tools in the basket and large ones on the seat. I added hooks on the side to hold bags for extra things or harvested veggies. I also added a pouch carrier on the seat back for other things. The brakes help a lot when going down an incline and the big wheels are great on the rough terrain. I thought putting it together would be a hassle, but my daughter got it out of the box--the hardest part because the box is big--but then put it together in about two minutes. You only need to put the handles in the slots at the height you prefer and secure them with the big provided knobs, and slide the backrest into place. You can adjust the brake tension if you want, and you need to remove the cellophane around the rubber tires, and set the basket in place. That's it! I really love this walker and the extra independence it gives me. It's really sturdy and comfortable to use as well as handy for my outside work. It fits fine in the back of my crossover SUV and is not too heavy to get in there but I generally do not take it with me since a shopping cart provides needed balance in most stores. If you want to use it in the house it's a bit wide for most doorways although you can turn it sideways to get it through. My house is small and even the regular sized one is a tight squeeze in some places so this is better for me outside. I want to stay on my tiny farm as long as possible and this is a great help.

Misleading information concerning the product

I would never have ordered this product if I had known that the seat is 24 inches high. The product description says it is 22 inches high. That figure is also included in the folder included with walker. I received a walker without the parts necessary to install the handlebars. When I requested that the missing parts be sent, I learned that parts are not supplied. I was sent a new walker that had all of the needed parts. While I appreciate getting a walker that can be safely used, the incorrect information about seat height and the obvious quality control issues suggest that a different company’s walker would be a better choice.

Yes but No

I liked that the product came in a timely manner, and it was easy to put together. I liked the way it fit me. The box was not in the best shape, but all the parts were there. Unfortunately, one of the hooks that fastened the wire basket on the walker was broken off. I have not had success in getting in touch with anyone that could help me get a replacement. I tried phone and online and never succeeded in getting in touch with anyone, just recorded messages. It was a frustrating experience and if I'd know how difficult it was, I probably would have not gone with the rollator I ordered. The basket I can live without but the knowledge that if I had problems with a small item and couldn't get it resolved, how much worse would it be if it was with a larger problem? I would have given it a 5-star rating if not for the customer service.

Perfect for Mother....STrong and REliable

Could not get my mom to use an aid cause she was afraid for many reasons...but when she saw this, I could not believe how she took to it, and has commented that it's given her much more independence and she walks a lot more cause it helps, and has a big seat to accommodate her comfortable, and she cn sit when tired. Very low price compared to local stores....

love it!

i really love this rollator. it came packaged beautifully. nothing was missing.. the wheels are big and strong. the seat big and strong. the breaks work well and the basket being underneath makes it easier to put things away. other than my being to short at 5 2" and having to hop on up i could use it for hours .love the back comfort to lean on too.

Good value for price.

The extra width is nice, and the walker is fairly well designed. Reasonably light weight and folds easily in half for trunk stowage. The brakes work well and lock. The handles adjust for your height but this area is a little bit too light weight. I'm fairly heavy guy, 210 lbs, and the handles flex quite a bit as I walk. This does not inspire confidence and feels like it will break in time. This walker has helped me a lot in my mobility, and the size carries quite a bit of groceries. Good value for the price. These walkers can run hundreds of dollars more than I paid for this. Had this shipped free with amazon prime and it came in about 3 days. Satisfied customer.

Very pleased with this...

This rollator more than met my expectations, it was so easy to put together most of it was already assembled in the box,I just had to put the two handles on and the piece across the back, it folds up easily and is not too heavy to lift, so far no problems I am very pleased with it.

Haven't needed to use it yet - hope I never have to...but I did a test drive through the apartment and its light, moves well, easy to navigate and at the same time its very sturdy...arrived very quickly. Very happy to have it !
