Good quality

Good quality. Accepts most rolls of towels without much worry about roll width or core size which is why I switched to these. Smooth, dependable operation, no jamming.

Great news with this dispenser is that it works with any different size brands or length of paper towel. The fact that you don’t need a spindle in the middle of it in order for it to work was an absolutely huge plus.

Money saver and happy staff

Money saver and happy staff because it’s manual! We have other battery operated paper holders around our facility that frequently stops working due to dead batteries. Battery expense adds up when you have more than 20 but not a concern with this product. Easy to install, I highly recommend it.

So far so good!

I was worried by some of the negative reviews, but I've installed this in my workplace bathroom and "so far, so good". It works nicely, the lever isn't flimsy, and the paper towel dispenses nicely. The only issue I had was that I put the paper towel roll "upside down" (it has to feed from the bottom, not the top) and so I jammed it at first. But just flip the paper towel roll and it works well. (I use brown kraft paper towel roll, and it's a pretty large roll). Installation wasn't the smoothest for me, because I didn't have the right tools. I'd recommend using drywall anchors if you're putting this just into drywall, which requires more than a basic screwdriver. Other than that, easy installation, just 5 screws (make sure you have the correct ones though; the screw holes are bigger than I was expecting so you need a screw with a larger head than the ones I had.)

Stay away from this.

Finally got around to installing this in the office, and boy, was ever I disappointed. 1.) The lever is horrible. You have to be sooo gentle when pressing down on it in order to get the paper towel to dispense. Otherwise, if you press down even at a normal pace/pressure, the gears on the lever will grind and nothing comes out. I used a half-roll of paper towel and it couldn't even handle that weight. 2.) Quite frequently, the paper towels get jammed by getting "reversed rolled" into the rollers. It was the funniest thing when first happened: the paper towel was coming out, and then all of a sudden it decided to retreat and disappear into the dispenser. I had to open it up on many occasions, get an exacto knife, and cut out the jammed paper (2 - 5 minute job). Finally, I had enough and decided to uninstall the thing. Now I have five nice drill holes on the bathroom wall that I have to eventually plaster and paint over. Thanks, San "Jamar." The T950 truly is a "Classic" Element Roll Towel Dispenser - a real "Pearl."

Works.great easy to install and reload with paper towel. Love the fact it has a universal fit. So don't have to buy one brand and size of paper towel. Very few moving parts so less chance of things not working right. Good quality materials. Would definitely buy another one.

Cracked item

Received broken item. Keys missing too. Tear off mechanism was out of alignment. Will be returning. Very disappointed
