Great water dispenser
This is a nice water dispenser. I purchased a stainless steel spout as many people recommended. I got the plain white and it looks so nice. Very happy with this purchase.

Feels as sturdy as the rest of them and we bought it for $42 and some change. Just like grandma's. Plastic spout.

Looks good on the black stand.
Nice ceramic urn. Ball valve was easy peasy. Just remember to place the washers bevel sides towards the urn. Hand tighten. On the last turn hold on to the nut with one hand and turn the spigot with other. You don't need a wrench or pliers to do this.

What a crock!
It was a replacement for broken water crock which we had for 20 years. Well made, good price & arrived quicker than expected. Hopefully this one will last 20 years too!

Mostly good except for washer
Works beautifully (like any gravity system should). The ONLY problem we had with it was that after 6 months of use we could detect a "musty" taste to the water. We use water from a machine in a local supermarket instead of tap water, so it has no chlorine in it. Changed out bottles, where we bought water from, etc. and come to find that the washer inside the container was moldy even though we cleaned it after each 5 gallon bottle of water ran through it. Pulled washer out, and yup, smelled moldy. Used an aquarium safe silicone to seal the tap instead of the supplied washer on the inside and now it tastes fine again. Gave it a 4 since the washer gets moldy.

Mi primera decepción de compra de un producto, el titulo indica de acero inoxidable y no lo es, es de CERAMICA, muy lamentable que esto suceda comprando directo con Amazon.

Yes for dispensing water, but No for brewing Kombucha.
This is a water-bottle holder and water dispenser. Somebody marketed it on the brave idea that it is ideal for making Kombucha tea. It is not ideal.. Why? Kombucha needs to be sealed in a breathing cloth top. The top of this crock does not allow a cloth to be close-fitted, since it sheds all band fasteners instantly. The plastic ring included was made for shielding the crock from water bottles, not for holding-on to cloth in any way. So it doesn't. It is good quality for its intended use -- water, but has sharp-edged marketing in the claims about kombucha.

It’s messy and takes two people to fill
I loved this product accept adding the jug was a hassle I didn’t think to realize until putting the jug in. The cap has to be removed unlike the pop in puncture itself ones and it takes two people to do this no matter what so there is no spill but will have little spill when flipping a huge uncovered jug into it. Kind of a pain. If your fine with that then do so but I don’t recommend this to anyone.

Tempermental
It (can) leaks. First I thought it was the spigot. Husband thought the water was coming from the plastic ring on top. So he adjusted the spigot, turned the washer the correct way (I put it in incorrectly) tightened everything and suggested to me to make sure the bottle was straight on the canister, and all that worked for about a week. I filled the bottle today. The canister was already pretty full. All day it's been like a flood. He was right, water dripped in a stream from where you sit the bottle on the canister. I could see the water come up in the air pocket created by the bottle being SLIGHTLY tilted. Frustrating as heck but I guess it's preventable. It seems to happen moreso if the canister is full and you put a full bottle on. Just letting you know before you buy the suggested replacement spigot. I came back to add these pics. It's a close up of the running drip where the bottle sits on the canister.
