Quality, storage, easy to clean
I love this dehydrator, it is high quality, easy to use, easy to store, and easy to clean. I was considered at front that the turning dial on the front would fall off or chip if it was low quality and it has not. It is simple and easy to use because you just plug it in and turn the dial in the front to which setting you want. This dehydrator isn’t oddly shaped so it is easy to place on the shelf until the next time it is used. All of the racks will stack on each other and you can easily clean each separate rack and allow to dry. It is an amazing dehydrator I would buy it again, I think if this company put out a line of colored dehydrators it would take it up a notch

Smells like burning plastic. I do NOT recommend.
Smells like harsh burning plastic. I figured it would burn off, so I ran it outside on the porch (in dry weather) for 8 hours a day, 3 days in a row. Still smells like burning plastic. Ugh. I would NEVER eat food dried in this. I just now got a return issued from Amazon.

Great for jerkey
I bought this because my brother was making jerkey and mailing it to me, but I decided I should just do it myself because I know it’s time-consuming. The jerkey cooked very well - I’m in Denver so I used the medium heat because I was afraid the Hugh heat would cook it a bit too much and it came out great. My biggest complaint is that the trays are easy enough to clean, but I noticed some residue from the meat/marinade in between the pattern on the trays. The base of the dehydrator is even worse though - I may try putting foil down next time so I can just toss it afterward. I love it other than that.

Reasonable price. Works like it's supposed to.
Very easy to use and clean. Used it for beef jerky - rotated the trays once half way through. Everything came out consistently dried with great texture. It held 3 pounds sliced beef perfectly. Not very happy with my recipe but that was mine and Alton Brown's fault. Mostly my fault probably.
