Nice set

I wish I'd bought some of these years ago. These have been so useful for upper body lifts that are hard to do 5lb increases on. I'm a female and have a hard time increasing weight on my military press and bench press so hoping these will help me with my progressive overload in a better way!

The bright colours are really helpful

Change plate are fantastic for progressive gains. Paint in them is holding up well so far and the bright colors definitely help distinguish the little plates from each other when lifting in a poorly lit basement.

Great Plates

I measured all eight plates and they were all spot on. That's really all that matters to me if I'm buying weights. Giving it 5 stars because I honestly don't care if the finish ends up chipping which I'm sure it will because it's sliding on a metal barbell all the time I wouldn't expect any less. That being said the finish is actually nicer than I was expecting as well. Others have said the price is a tad high, I somewhat agree but then again I would somewhat consider these specialty plates in the sense that probably not a ton of people buy them, so again no surprise there either. If you are struggling to overload with the typical 5 or so pounds these are great, especially for exercises that aren't condusive to heavier overloads and benefit more from the smaller change in weight.

Perfect for increasing weight on bench and overhead presses

Ever notice that gyms cater to men and not to women with the sizes of weights offered? A set of these micro-weights helps increase your strength on bench and overhead presses without going up in 5# increments. Perfect for women or older lifters who need to increase their strength in smaller steps. Only correction would be that the total weight of the set is 5#, not 4 as advertised. (1+1+3/4 + 3/4 + 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 5)

Perfect

This is the second time my husband and I have purchased a set of fractional weight plates. We now wish we had purchased both sets from this company. They are so much nicer than the other ones. They fit perfect on our olympic bars as well as our 2" pins. The other set barely fit the bars and doesn't fit on one of the pins at all. The quality of these are way nicer plus these were a few dollars less than the other ones.

Should've gotten these sooner

I seriously should have got a set of these sooner. Being able to add small amounts to the bar for heavy lifts or to the cable attachment for isolation exercises is awesome. Wish I had them a year ago when I was starting. Makes progressive overload much less daunting when you get near a new max - just add a little more! Don't know how long the pain will stay on, but it it isn't like I throw them around like frisbees. They should be fine if you don't bang them around all the time.

EXCELLENT for progressive Overload training

I was having trouble finding a good set of these on amazon and had to browse for awhile. I found this product pretty far down the list, but it was absolutely perfect for the progressive overload weight training I was trying to do. I almost never leave reviews, but I feel like my review could make a positive impact here. Really affordable, quality still seems to be holding up. Nothing on amazon is even close to the price range on these.

Surprisingly accurate

Of the entire set, only one of the 1/2 pound weights were off by an ounce... all the rest were dead-on. Quality seems decent for these post pandemic prices. Hope the finish lasts, but too early to tell.
