Absolutely Stunning!!

Like several others have said - the detail, craftsmanship, and quality of this statue are beyond words....!! I'm a big hit with all the neighbors on our street who just love the place I made for him, and many have walked or driven by - taking pictures of St. Francis and a wonderful small cast iron bridge I got from Amazon as well - which really sets off the statue very nicely. The "fountain" is just a HUGE added bonus! The high quality pump and the very detailed instructions and care/maintenance info is extremely detailed and very useful. Most people should have a very enjoyable time using the statue's fountain feature, and impress people all the more.....The Design Toscano company marketing these statues is also very well known and has been around quite a while with an outstanding reputation for excellence and caring about their customers. Sadly, this fountain turned out to be a clunker

When I first got this fountain, I gave it a great review and in part, it is pretty good quality. The statue itself is very high quality and the bowl is nice, but seems more plastic than the statue portion. Originally, the water barely trickled out, even with the pump on high. But after a few days, I arrived home one evening to find it was not working AT ALL. I would give the seller a five star rating in that they didn't really give me any trouble with returning the item, but I was very very disappointed that I had to return it. The one I had previously that was exactly like this only different in color had lasted me at least six years. I don't know what the problem was with this fountain ... both the original pump and the replacement pump both seemed to work fine, but the water did not come out of the little hole at the top of the bowls. My old fountain was so relaxing with the sound of the water CASCADING out and the chickadees loved it. This one was sadly a huge disappointment in that regard. Additionally, my brand new fountain arrived in an old used beat up box ... it was not in any kind of box you would expect a brand new item to arrive in. The box it was shipped in had been taped over so many times, it literally fell apart once I got it open. I don't know what was up with that, but you would think a brand new item would come in a nice new box that described what was inside. My old fountain surely did. All in all, I have no complaints with the seller, and I would have loved to have kept this item, but it just plain flat did not work.

Beautifully Designed

This is a very beautifully designed/sculpted figure of St. Francis of Assisi. The details of his face features are remarkable. The fountain works just fine with a minor complaint on my part being that the pump is a bit on the noisy side.

Horrible quality for the price I paid. The statue had chips and cracks.

I was very disappointed to receive this product damaged and discolored. I will be returning and getting a refund.
