Treeman for my Garden

I put my tree man attacked on a tree stump he looks great lots of detail to his face and he has lasted a long time now in the weather.

We mounted it on a tree next to our front door as a greeting

Very well made. It has been outside in weather, including 13 days of 4 feet of snow, for over a year and a half, and everything including the colors look perfect.

Decent product

Good quality casting, a bit smaller than I anticipated given the measurements... although the back was very thin and cracked after even delicate handling.

Whispering Wilhelm is a fine addition to my landscaping.

I am very pleased with Whispering Wilhelm. He is in place, on a tree, on my lawn. He is made of a sturdy resin and his coloring is such that he blends in with the tree bark. He has lovely eyes that almost look real. He is smaller than I thought he would be when I purchased him. I had previously purchased the Spirit of Nottingham, who is maybe 50% larger. My order arrived in a timely manner and I have no complaints as to his quality. He adds a bit of whimsey to my landscaping. Don't hesitate to buy Whispering Wilhelm.

A lovely addition in my garden.

The lovely little old man arrived today, and was promptly hung on a very large old fir tree. There is a natural indentation in the trunk and he fits perfectly in it. His color almost matches the tree bark. Some reviews had mentioned that he is so small he does't look very good on large trees.Perhaps it is because of the natural little alcove where he hangs it seems to look quite natural. Rather than seeing it as being too small for this big old fir tree, I see it as if he has grown up along with the tree and thus has entered his elderly years along with the tree. Seems kind of natural to me. Instead of appearing as if he is just hanging on the tree, at least in this case he appears to really be apart of it surrounded by large chunky pieces of bark on a very rough bark surface. Bottom line; it looks great. He looks as if he has lived in it forever.

The back of the statue is slightly concave, and it has ONE mount at the top of the back which can capture a small screw/nail head. If the tree is the correct curvature and is vertical or leaning "back" from where you are mounting the statue, then it looks great. Otherwise, the statue hangs in the air and looks kind of disappointing. I may also have to tint the statue a little blue to match the blue atlas cedar I mounted it on. We will see how that goes . . . I may have to drill a hole through the statue in order to screw it to the target tree for the reason above. I hope that works. That said, I like the look of the thing. Good luck!

he's tiny

This is very well made, but much smaller than I'd envisioned. Speaking of Wilhelm here. I bought the Spirit of Nottingham Woods last year, and it has much more of a presence against tree bark than little Wilhelm. They're also made of differing materials. Wilhelm is flat on the back and very hard with a bit of weight and a lot of detail. Seems more suited for a wall hanging. Nottingham is so flexible you can bend it around the curve of a tree trunk - similar to a face mask.

Adorable little wood face

I originally ordered this guy to put on a tree in the yard. When I saw him, though, I thought he was so cute I had to include him with the grouping for my back porch. I love him. He is high quality. His back is flat with a single slot to hang him. I expect that he will last for years since he is protected from the elements. I would definitely buy him again or recommend him to others.

Awesome

I absolutely love this guy. He's hanging in my living room watching over me and quietly nudging me to go outside more. The quality is fantastic, he's not heavy at all. I put some double sided tape on him to attach him to the wall in addition to the nail, as he's hanging in my motorhome.

Lovely ent

I had seen this ent casting elsewhere in stone, but for inside I thought a resin version would suit me better as it is lighter and not completely white When I saw this same ent on Amazon I immediately clicked buy it now. He is perfect on my wooden beam. Very nice and detailed cast and high quality paint job. I love him.
