working part poorly made

The (spring load part of this TP holder) is cheaply made. Thankfully the old one that I was replacing(that had lost its gold plating) had a very strong matching gold plating spring.

I would give it 6 stars if possible.. Bought this thinking I would have to enlarge the existing hole. Not so... In replacing the old one of 34 years in the Vogue RV, I was not looking forward to making the existing one larger. If you have had to make changes in a RV bathroom you understand... This was the only one I could find in Polished Bronze. Krieg from Iowa...

Will NOT fit double size rolls of toilet paper

Nice looking product, but if you are using double sized rolls they will not fit, I must first use the rolls in another bathroom and then move them over once they are sized correctly, what an oversight!

Good but still lacking finish work.

For a polished brass holder this replacement unit is better than original item shipped, however, still not polished well on curved areas.

Good quality.

I'm happy with the quality of this. The metal is heavier than the Delta equivalent. Mine came with a good quality metal backplate for mounting in drywall. (I had to buy the latter part separately to mount the Delta equivalent.) The threads on the mounting screws are metric and placed differently from a Delta, so you can't mount it on a Delta backplate or use the same screw holes, if you're replacing a Delta. Mine also came with two useless, non-brass-colored wood screws to use if you're mounting to wood instead of using the included backplate. Overall, I think this is a good product.

Nice Solution for the Right Spot

Nice finish, easy to install and great looking. My only suggestion is that it should include a spindle that is much larger in diameter. With the included spindle, the roll of paper hangs down too low and looks out of symmetry. . .

Perfect fit!

We were glad to find these holders in polished brass.

These toilet roll holders were slightly smaller than the previous holders. We had to do some touch up painting around the edges.
