2 out of 4 ain't bad....or is it?!?! Terrible shipping

After 3 orders and 4 units, we are able to piece together 2 workable, undamaged units. Every single one came damaged in some way but after the first exchange, we decided to keep the unit until the other two arrived and use the original for unbroken parts. That worked like a charm otherwise we would've ended up sending back the other two as well. All and all, very happy with the end result but really terrible shipping. Manufacturer should take more caution with packing.

Looks good when installed

Looks good installed in our bathroom - replaced a larger unit but still functions with enough storage space. The only thing we don't like much is the hardward that controls the doors opening and closing. It sticks out into the room and could cause a painful bump to a hand or arm. That said, it looks pretty good.

Love it!

My husband and I LOVE all the extra storage this provides. It has made such a big difference in our tiny bathroom, and it looks great! Since the cabinet is recessed it took work to install, including drywall ing and framing, but definitely worth it

Not likely to survive shipping

We ordered this medicine cabinet because it is a drop-in replacement for our old one, which had deteriorated over several decades. This is a relatively low-end piece, but since it had been built in (as opposed to surface-mounted), it was easier just to order another of the same thing. As sometimes happens, the first unit was destroyed in shipping (see photo above). It wasn't too poorly packed, and must have been dropped pretty hard to destroy the frame. We had decided to update from our original honey oak to this semi-gloss white, and one thing I learned from examining the destroyed piece is that it is MDF (medium density fiberboard). The frame of the oak version is actually oak. We still decided to go with this unit, and had a replacement sent. It did not make it; we were notified that it was damaged in shipment, and returned to the manufacturer. This led to a little confusion with Amazon, since their system cannot deal with double replacements. But a few minutes on chat got me an explanation and a refund. In theory we could have placed another order, but we decided to order through another merchant and pick it up in-store. For those who are considering ordering, in terms of product value it has a shallow shelf (designed to have the frame fit flush against the wall when the box is recessed into a standard interior wall), good height and width, and the doors swing so that you can create a make-up mirror (i.e., the outer two swing toward the center). It comes pre-assembled, and if you use it as a surface-mount it is an easy installation. Whichever finish you get, the interior is plastic-coated particle board, which will absorb moisture and decompose over time in a humid environment.

Great for the price, but easily damaged in shipping.

This was delivered with a broken mirror panel, but I submitted a replacement request that same day (a Monday), and the new one arrived just a few days later (a Thursday), in perfect condition. Definitely check the product immediately, as it seems like these are easily damaged. Other than that hiccup, I'm very happy with what I got for the price. It comes pre-assembled, ready to hang. It was super easily to install, provided you've hung heavy objects on the wall before -- I did add a couple of extra screws through the hanging rails so that it would attach directly into a stud, in addition to the drywall sinkers and screws they provide.

Poor quality for price

Poor quality for the price - arrived with damage. I should have read the reviews before ordering. Poor quality painted MDF NOTs solid wood - one door was attached crooked and would hit the door next to it when closing. corners were dinged/dented/scratched on two of the corner doors. Returned right away for refund. Do not recommend

Corner, wood seams are not tight; hinges had to be fiddled into alignment. Altogether, something I won't order again

Poor quality

This medicine cabinet has scratches on the wood and imperfections in the mirror . Not great quality but alas have already put it up before noticing . Buyer beware !!

broken when it arrived... twice

Love this medicine cabinet and it was exactly what i was looking for. Poorly packaged though. I ordered it twice and both needed to be returned as they were broken when they arrived :(
