very nice faucet, pain to install, expensive

I bought one of these and installed it. Major pain. Almost worth hiring a plumber. you may need a special wrench to tighten the washer under the sink. You'd need this wrench for any faucet install, not just this one. you also need a bit of silicone caulk to seal the drain part, like you would for any faucet install. the faucet itself is gorgeous and works very well. I was waiting to see if the price would drop, but it never does. it's a bit expensive. But compared to other places, Amazon is lower by about $20 to $30, so I just went ahead and bought two more for my house. Hopefully having installed one, the other two will go smoother.

Love this new faucet!

The old faucet on a small sink was way too much and too big. This one is smaller, fitting the sink so much better. I love the satin finish and style with the stopper on the top, not in the back where it’s hard to get to. I would highly recommend this one.

Loudest Faucet I Have Ever Used!

The media could not be loaded. I had high hopes for this faucet considering the amount of positive reviews and the fact that Delta is a well-known brand usually synonymous with high quality. Sadly, that is not the case with this bathroom faucet. After spending good money to have a plumber professionally install it, I discovered from my first turn of the handle how deafeningly loud the sound from the water flow is! In the included video, I only turned the handle a quarter of the way, but you can still hear how annoyingly noisy it is. Turning the handle all the way results in a noise so loud that it can be heard from practically any room in the house! The plumber assured me that there was nothing wrong with the installation and this was simply the design of the faucet. Possibly the aerator, which restricts the water flow. Also, the water flow is too narrow for my liking. Even when the handle is turned all the way, the stream remains very narrow, but comes out with more force and obviously, more noise! In addition, while I like the aesthetics of the faucet, there are two glaring holes on either side of the handles where the screws attach to the faucet. Delta has supplied no caps to plug these holes with and the result looks unsightly and low-end to me. Come on Delta, how can you cheap out with something so simple! Reading reviews for other Delta faucets, these issues seem to be reoccurring complaints, along with leaks, which took the plumber a while to fix with this faucet. So, now I have no choice but to return this faucet and purchase another brand like Moen and pay the plumber again to install it. Overall, I am a very frustrated customer, but I hope my experience serves as a warning to other prospective buyers. *Update 10/30/2020* After several weeks of repeated phone calls with Delta's customer service, during which time they kept sending me ill-fitting aerators, they finally sent me a less restrictive aerator that actually fit. After installing the replacementDelta RP53998 2.2 GPM Aerator , the noisy water flow problem was resolved! I can finally use this faucet again without being reminded how maddeningly loud it is. For those interested in purchasing this faucet, I would highly recommend getting the replacement 2.2GPM aerator, as well. In closing, while I no longer regret buying this faucet, the issues I mentioned should have been addressed by Delta with better quality control BEFORE reaching the consumer.

Great Faucet...nice styling, brushed nickel looks very premium, relatively easy to install

I got this to replace our old faucet. It took me awhile to remove my old faucet and clean. up all the gunk. from many years of use. Make sure you read and understand the entire installation guide before starting. The installation of the faucet was easy. All the parts. were pretty east to connect. The cabinet under my sink was pretty small so I had a hard time reaching into tight places. It took me awhile to figure out how to remove the old drain piping and replace it with the one that came with this faucet. Everything is working nicely. So far so good...no leaks. (BTW, this was my first time installing a faucet.)

same as plumbing supply

I bought one from my plumbing supplier and one from Amazon. I needed 2. They appeared exactly the same. Same model numbers on the box. Weighed the same. Plumbing suppliers always say that the faucets you get from them are higher quality. But when you call Delta, they always say there is only one quality no matter where you buy. So I tested. They appeared to be the same.

Installation instructions need refinement.

This spread set has a hot and cold valve. The hot valve is not marked like the installation instruction diagram. It’s poorly marked on the bottom of a caution label!? Delta Faucet phone support told me not once, but 3 times through 2 calls, that the valves were universal/interchangeable. These folks need better training.
