Good mat. WIsh it was wider and thicker.

I found several dart mats on here and chose this one because the others were all listed as 24 inches wide. Dimensions for this one weren't listed clearly, but it did show a dimension of 32 and I was hoping it meant it was 32 inches wide. It's not, it's 24 inches like the rest and maybe the box is 32 inches. It's a decent mat, but knowing it's not any wider than the others I would have chosen another one that was a little less expensive. In addition to preferring it be a little wider, I also wish it was a little thicker than 3mm. I am using this over a hardwood floor and occasionally my 25 gram darts go through it on a bounce out. For that reason I have put a small throw rug over it to protect the floor in the area where darts usually fall. I'm still happy with the purchase, but deducted one star since it cost more than a comparable mat here on Amazon.

Good Dart Mat

Yeah, the rubber smell is a little over powering at first. But I've owned mine for a few months now and I don't notice it nor does anyone else. I have mine in a spare bedroom under my Arachnid Galaxy 2. I use soft tips so I'm not worried about tips cutting into the mat if they fall out. It actually saves my tips. A little of the farthest white lines has worn a bit off, but I'm not currently too concerned about it. It stays in place pretty well too since it's heavy rubber.

Worth the irriations? You decide.

Yes, this product works well for dart players. However, there are a couple of things that are irritating. First, there is a bend in one corner we thought would eventually flatten. We applied a weight to the corner in an effort to speed up that process. Several weeks later - the crease is still there and the corner won't lay flat. Potential snag toe and trip in the future? The other irritant - it seems to suck up all the dust in the room and no matter what is or is not on your feet when you stand on the matt - you will leave foot prints. Even if you wear clean socks.

A good product for distance markers

A good product for distance markers. Not really thick enough to protect a floor against bounce outs, darts will go through the rubber. The white markers also faded to a yellow/brown colour after receiving a little bit of sunlight.

Very happy with it.

Works great. Rubber smell dissipated within about a week. Doesn’t totally protect the floor but is certainly better than no protection at all. Very happy with it.

I like the mat

I like the mat. I wish it was a little wider, but I don't believe that any of the other mats that are out there are any wider, so it's not like there was a better choice. Also, I didn't notice the odor that others had mentioned in their reviews. Overall, it works great and looks nice too.

not bad

the only thing is that this is good on is concrete and tile. Carpet it moves unless you have really low carpet then maybe it won't and darts will penetrate through the mat at about chest to chin level. so if you have hard wood floor i wouldn't get it.
