fits perfectly over tub

Fits perfectly over my pop-up drain plug. It fits over the drain so you can pull the plug up while it's still on top of the drain. My only complaint is the seal on the outer rim of the catcher doesn't stick fully to the bathtub floor. It'll catch hair fine and won't float away as long as you don't touch/disrupt it.

Saves a lot of Money

This little strainer really does catch all of my hair and prevents it from going down the drain! I've had a lot of problems in the past with my hair clogging the bathtub drain and we would have to use Draino to unclog it. I've had this little hair catcher/strainer for maybe 6 months now and it has saved us a lot of money! I no longer have to buy Draino because my bathtub does not clog. As long as you clean it and throw away your hair every week, you should be good! It's also very easy to clean.

This works great.

I wanted to get something to catch hair on my sink but did not want a filter that would require me to remove the stopper. This worked like a charm. Just put it in the sink and press the little suction cup on the top of the stopper and it hasn't moved anywhere.

Works in The Bathroom Vanity Sink

UPDATE 04/17/2023 This drain cover is still doing the job keeping hair from going down the bathroom sink. The suction still works and it doesn't slide around. Glad I purchased it, and when the time comes, will purchase another one. Got this to replace a wire basket screen strainer. The wire screen strainer worked so well. My old sink was missing the push/pull drain stopper, so the wire screen basket easily fit in the drain opening. Then I did a bath remodel. I picked out a sink with a touch/tap drain cover and could not use the screen anymore. Should have paid more attention, because the wire screen was filtering out stuff I didn't realize was going down the drain. This suction drain is just ok. It catches long hair fairly well. Very short pieces of hair tend to bypass the cover. The short pieces are probably not going to cause clogs anyway. Have not had a problem with the suction, and it stays secure. It is easily removed to clean which I like, nor has it gotten stained or mildewed.

They're not bad

I primarily got this for shaving, but it doesn't seem to really stop the smaller hairs very well. Does just fine on the bigger stuff though.

Works well

This works well, but you need to push all the way down and turn slightly to get a good seal. Make sure the water is off completely. I'm not sure if it prevents 100% of your hair from going down the drain, but it definitely does a good job. It should have a pretty tight seal without gaps if it is on correctly.

Suction power, width is great, but height leaves something to be desired.

I have a standard tub with a standard pop-drain. This ALMOST fits properly but leaves a 1-3mm gap between the tub and the drain cover...leaving stuff to slide in underneath and still get into the drain. It was so close to perfect...so close...but this design error makes it mediocre performing at best.

I love it. But...

The media could not be loaded. Bought this due to a problem with our tap water hitting the drain cover and then bounce splashing back up all over the counter top. I was hoping this would diffuse the water stream and stop the splashing problem and *maybe* catch hair too. Original problem is totally solved! Hair... we’ll see. [Edit] (Yup it does a decent job at this too.) This is an extremely soft rubbery product and the suction cup seems very good. Glad the package included two because the cat pulled it up in the middle of the night and ran away with it and hid it. Amazingly it’s never been seen since. Can’t imagine where he hid it.

Good

I only use it when I wash my hair. It installs in seconds and it catches the hair without altering the drain's functions. It doesn't feel super secure because there's only one suction thing on top in the middle and none around, so I'm not sure if it catches 100% of the hair, but it works well enough for me.

Love this! Use this in our tub. The key is to place it on the plug only once you start draining so the suction keeps it in place. Catches hair every time. Great purchase.
