My New Favorite Bike Light Manufacturer Is Cygolite
I have been a cyclist for about 45 years. In the last few years I have really started to appreciate having bright front and rear "blinky" lights for visibility to cars, etc. These Cygolite units are almost too bright (others would not appreciate them in a paceline at times, especially the dual light rear unit that is about $50). I use these along with one of the other Cygolites on our seat bags and we are much more visible than with the cheap $10 to $20 lights. They also seem to have better durability and battery life. Until or unless I start having issues this will be the only brand of bicycle light I will buy going forward. Note that my first one was an Amazon Warehouse deal that showed as "used" on the receipt. It died after a few uses. Cygolite warrantied it without question, so I have at least some indication that they stand behind their products and their relationship with Amazon.

Great, lightweight, easy to charge light set
I did not pick up this set on Amazon initially, but at my local outdoor equipment co-op during a fall sale. I am so glad I made the purchase! I feared that the 30 lumen taillight would not be bright enough, but is is very noticeable. I use it in random flash mode, and the strobes are too bright to look at from a short distance away, and are very bright even at a long distance. The headlight has a good mix of modes for visibility as well as path illumination. I ride at about 18-20 mph typically, and the beam is enough to light up my path (on the road, through mostly dark paths and bike lanes that are “shaded” from streetlights by trees) very well. Charging is easy, and the straps make removing/mounting to a handlebar and seat post a breeze. Taillight does not mount correctly to my Topeak underseat bag, which has a horizontal strap to permit lights to clip on vertically. My seat is high enough, however, that I can mount both the taillight and bag with no issues. I love the memory function which turns on the last light mode when the power button is pressed momentarily. I tend to switch on once I’ve started riding, so being able to reach down and switch on the taillight without looking, and still be assured it will come on in the right attention-grabbing mode is a comfort. I love my set so much that I bought a second set through Amazon for my son. I am confident that the lights will keep him safely visible and light his way as well as they have done for me.

Bright, sturdy, easy to use
I've used these lights lightly for about a year, about 2 to 6 short city rides per week, rain or shine. The mounts are sturdy and have kept the lights in place, though the headlight mount tends to rotate slightly as the bike vibrates in use and requires a quick adjustment to rotate it back. The build quality of the light enclosures is good. The lights are quite bright. I use them in daylight too and sometimes put my hand in the light path to double-check that they're on—they're bright enough that the light flashes reflecting off my hand are a bit painful to look at. The USB rechargeable batteries were a major reason I chose this set, and charging time and battery life are good. Even a short charge sufficient to provide usable usage time. The rubber weather covers that protect the micro-USB battery ports are a bit loose and often are shaken out of place, but they've successfully protected the lights through a number of major downpours. All in all, I'm very pleased with these lights and plan to purchase a second set for my wife's bike.

Very bright strobes, will last several rides between charges
I ride during daylight hours morning/afternoons on public roads and wanted an upgrade on lighting to help me standout with car traffic. I ride 40-60 miles at a stretch and have had no issues with battery life, using the more efficient blinking strobe. I'm very pleased with the intensity of both the headlamp and tail lamps. I'm sure that vehicular traffic can clearly see me from a distance in either direction. I do not ride at night, so I cannot make claims on night riding illumination but I think these would prove adequate in dawn and dusk applications. I think a serious night cyclist would want to upgrade to a higher intensity headlamp for that purpose.

These lights are stellar. Lights are bright and the mounting hardware is very easy to use. Still up in the air if I like the rechargeable batteries and they are pricey. We use these at our beach house with lots of kids on bikes. If it gets left on, you have to charge it for a while before it works again - we have always kept a box of batteries in the garage. Champagne problems... Great light and I love the different options for brightness. I have even had people tell me the headlamp is too bright for oncoming traffic (brightest setting). I will by more of these.

Very dependable!
I would recommend this product to my friends and family. Easy to install on your bicycle. The lighting is far superior to other brands I have used in the past. Battery life is longer than you would expect for the amount of lighting it puts out.
