Appears very well made, easy to install.

Instructions are simple as is the install. Our 2023 Rubicon did have the existing outer bolts with the welded in nuts. Once these were removed, just use a screw driver to separate the outer metal piece and slide the receiver in between as noted in the instructions. It helps to have a rubber mallet to adjust and align the holes. I did not have to loosen the muffler to get the nuts in. I did use some blue loctite on the bolts.

Easy install

Installed on 2dr JL Wrangler Sport. For use with bicycle rack. No wiring to be installed. Took 5 - 10minutes to install. Fits like a glove. Directions say to loosen exhaust. Didn't bother. Bicycle rack fits. Would recommend for bicycle rack use. JL has low tow capacity. No intention to tow with 2dr.

Perfect

2019 Jeep JL Do Not Buy cheaper versions as I tried 2 other from Amazon at half the cost. They both had 1/8 gap. Manufacturer said its fine, just tighten the bolts. Returned them and sucked it up and bought the Curt. No comparison as this is really heavy and just tight enough needed a mallet to position around frame. 15 min job and perfect. Worth the extra $50

Fit 2014 Jeep Wrangler

2014 Jeep Wrangler. Ordered this one because I read it would be a little longer than stock. It is probably 2” longer. I have an after market bumper so it helps that the mount is a little further back. Bolted up with no problems with the supplied hardware.

Perfect fit for a 2019 Jeep rubicon 4 door JL

This was a perfect fit for my Jeep rubicon 2019 JL- it was worth the money -I had some noticeable scratches from obvious shipping mishandling but I didn’t bother sending it back - I did not have to loosen or drop the muffler or remove the bumper to instal - My vehicle has the L bracket or plate in between the bumper and the frame - what I did was remove the 2 long bolts from the plate using a 19mm socket and then removed the 2 bolts from under the bumper that hold the plate as well with a 10mm socket - After that I lined the hitch up in place and wiggled it into place behind the plate - Don’t get me wrong it was very tight fit - I had about 4 inches left to completely line up the holes - I used a rubber mallet and taped into place to align with the holes - I used the original bolts on the 2 outsides first ( the plate I have had 2 welded nuts on each end to thread into ) once I had them in place I snugged them up really good - I then used the hardware curt gave and worked from there - the only difficult part was trying to Hold the nut into place in between the bumper and the alignment hole - what I did was use a piece of tape to hold the nut on a 19mm metric wrench and tighten the bolt towards the nut - once it connected I removed the tape and then I was able to tighten it down - total time for this project for me was 30 minutes by myself - hopefully this review helps anyone - this was my first time doing a project like this as well -

Curt quality, excellent finish- fit JL Perfectly

First and foremost I am a mechanic and I am not in the business of installing trailer hitches but I found this one very easy to install. I have three tools total to install this trailer hitch. It took me about 15 minutes doing it on my back and I did not have to lower the exhaust or enlarge any holes. I did however reuse the two outer bolts because they had a welded nut already attached. I cannot say whether the OEM bolts are okay for the application but my little trailer is just to pull a lawn mower. If I had to remove that plate and get the welding nut off it would have added much more time but the bolts are very big and I would say that it is okay for the application.

Super easy to install

Very easy to install and works great. Only four bolts and you are ready to use! I did not have to loosen anything as shown in the directions.

It's great & an easy install.. even for a non-mechanic like me.

Nice trailer hitch. Got it from Warehouse Deals for half the price. You could tell it was returned. I guess it didn't fit the other guys Jeep. Went in, nice & tight on my 2020 JL. Had to use a small sledgehammer to persuade it slightly (use a 2x4, do not use the hammer on the steel). Also, make sure you have all 4 bolts in place before you start tightening them. All in all, a great hitch and a great deal. Now, I just need the wiring harness, which is sold separately.

Nice quality and somewhat easy to install

Good quality hitch installed on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JLU 4 door. Was installed to be able to use a 2 stall bike rack for electric bikes. Came with all the necessary hardware and instructions. Small issue with having to file down some welding slag on the Jeep frame as this hitch is a very tight on the Jeep frame. Used a car jack to lift into place and then tightened the bolts. Used 2 of the factory bolts and 2 of the supplied bolts. No wiring harness is included with the hitch so that will have to be ordered separately. Would recommend for use on your Jeep as it seems like a very strong and durable hitch.

Installed without any issues.

The hitch arrived as promised and was very well packaged. The hitch is of good quality and well finished. Installation was easy and did not require any other parts to be repositioned - there were not clearance issues with the muffler. I have used it to mount a bicycle rack and it works well with or without a receiver extension. I am happy with the product and recommend it.

All good once I straightened the plate

It was re taped and repackaged so I have to assume it was returned before. But the reason was the one plate was bent in. So pulled it out and it went on easy.
