no more cuts

I received one of these gloves as present from my mom… I loved it so much that I bought one for her on Amazon. It works especially well when using the mandolin slicer for a "no fear" feeling when getting down the the end of whatever you are slicing. It really protects. I have not tried it for chopping by hand yet. The size is also great, (I have smaller hands) and it does not feel bulky or get in the way of handling food. have washed it a few times by hand with mild soap and it seems to be fine after the washings as well. I recommend this to anyone who uses a mandolin.

Thank heavens

This glove has saved me SO many nicked and sliced fingers. Lol. I am a Migraine patient with carpal tunnel in both wrists. Using a knife or mandolin can be painful at times due to small cuts and nicks. So far - no more bloodshed for me! Yay!!

Good protection for hands

I am always slicing vegetables and wanted extra protection. These gloves fit my petite hands well. The reason I gave them three stars is the fibers that make up the materials. I was hoping for a more rigid fabric but this is a blend of cottons, polyester, and fiberglass. I cut up a lot of onions, and tomatoes and the glove ends up being saturated in the stains and smells. Which means that I end of washing them after each use. The glove has to be lined dry and it takes hours to a day before it drys enough to use again.

Comfortable, Sturdy Gloves - haven't cut myself, yet!

I have two of these so I can rotate them into the wash. I love them when I use my mandoline. They help grip the food as well as protect your fingers. They are flexible and comfortable. I use them at least 4 times a week and they've held up well and wash fine.

Really works!

Just perfect! I used it yesterday to make Chicken Pot Pie so I did a lot of cutting, there were a few times that I had the blade right on the top of my fingertip. So it really helped to not cut me. Great for people that take blood thinners!
