It works!

We inherited an old pool table with a ball return system but the pipes have slowly cracked and fallen out. We didn't want to invest much, but we also wanted to play without the balls falling out on our toes - These have been the perfect solution! Nice deep pockets.

completely re-vitalized my older pool table

We just got a used table and the pockets were so worn out and stitched together and frayed (pic #1). I removed them easily and inserted the new pockets (pic #2). as you can see they extended into the paying area. A sharp utility knife and cut off the excess. now they are installed and look great (pic #3 & pic #4). they are very strong and will last a long time. The excess just needed to be measured or eyed and cut away very easily (pic #5). Highly recommend them for anyone that needs the pockets replaced. We have a standard 7' foot table nd ready to play

Very tough, flexible, easy installation - great value.

Installed on vintage slate table. Can be trimmed with common tools if needed for best fit. Appearance is good if you don't mind the mash-up of old and new. Installation about as easy as could be. Overall - an excellent value.

Easy fix for ball return replacement

Our pool table had a ball return system, but the tubes kept falling out and we couldn't get them to stay anymore. These pockets were such an easy replacement! Just slide them in place, cut the excess off the edges, and we were playing pool again in no time.

Did not fit our side pockets...had to cut and nail them.

As you can clearly see in the first picture...we had to nail in and cut the side pockets because they didn't fit our table. But they work great now!! Thanks.

You need the actual dimensions before purchasing, including the top flange. Actual numbers. Not "standard size".

They may work just fine for others but I could not use these on my Imperial 8' outdoor table. No amount of cutting would make them fit properly and the flanges at the top are too narrow. They fail to cover the screw holes that secure the existing pockets. They might be fine on a standard indoor table but they don't work on mine. Unfortunately I wasn't able to determine this until AFTER I had cut one up and could no longer return them. Now I'm out $30.

They put new life into an old table.

They are what they are. That being said, they required some minor trimming and fitting. We had an old table with ball returns that always jammed up. Nothing seemed to fix it so we ordered these drop pockets. After removing the old ball return system and pockets, we installed these and our problem was solved.
