Swingline is a great brand in my opinion!

I bought this as I hate the cantankerous electric stapler and the small stapler that served faithfully for years when my hands were much stronger. This one handles a big 25 sheets of paper, fits nicely in my hand and never fails to put the staples into the paper hard and fast. Others mentioned difficulty with the staples but I use standard Swingline staples and I have no issues. It looks sturdy and I cannot see any reason for it to fail me. It has a flat grippy bottom that keeps it in place on my desk, but it also is a great handheld stapler that fits nicely in my hand. The fit of the staples is snug, but non-problematic. And the price was good. It definitely is easier to use than my ancient huge Swingline stapler that takes a lot of pressure to staple even ten pieces of paper. Agreat asset in the home office!

Great deal!!

I had a cheap stapler that would only staple about 3 sheets of paper. One night I got frustrated with it and tossed it in the trash. I went to Amazon on a seeking journey and found just what I needed. This stapler is great. It never fails. I have stapled at least 20 sheets together with NO PROBLEM! It's dependable....working every time. I won't need to buy another stapler in my life. It's a good one. I would recommend and would buy again.

Lives Up to Description

This stapler is very easy to use, takes little force to operate, and works the first time without getting stuck. A full staple refill fits in it. I have severe arthritis in my hands and arms, and my old stapler was painful and hard to use. I am completely satisfied with this model and use it more than I was able to use my old model. Wonderful product.

Staples with ease

At last, a stapler not of the conventional appearance. As the product description reads, this will punch through a staple with great ease. Yes it does cost more then others (even the same brand), but you get what you pay for.

Great stapler for the price

Swingline has been around since like forever. Buddy Holly and Elvis probably used a Swingline to staple their music sheets or whatever. This one is a more modern design: it's much more compact than the traditional model, and you don't need to 'bang' the unit to staple pages properly. It requires much less force, and that's a huge improvement. The only drawback is this product does not hold a huge number of staples, but that's not a big deal.

This stapler is great value for money and a tremendous bargain!

A good quality stapler is, perhaps, the best way to keep your bits and pieces of related paperwork securely together. And this Swingline is, perhaps, one of the very best of its kind. The materials used in its construction are first class and the stapler feels great to handle. Solid, but not too heavy, all the actions are smooth yet crisp. It is not something you would carry about with you, or try and slip into a your bag or pocket, but it is not designed or intended for such purposes. It is described as, and is clearly designed as, an executive, desk top model and, as such, fits the bill completely. I find the charcoal coloured finish adds to the image of professional efficiency which the stapler exudes. It is easy to gauge where the staple will engage at the front of the stapler and there is a handy, adjustable paper guide if you intend clipping a number of sheets together. While you can staple up to 25-30 sheets at any one time, I would be inclined to stop somewhat short of this mark. I was pleased that the item came ready loaded with a couple of hundred staples and note that additional staples can be readily purchased cheaply from Amazon. A light grey release button at the rear of the stapler gives fast and easy access to the loading area. Although the item arrived without any written instructions, its use is so intuitive that they would seem superfluous. This item is great value for money and a tremendous bargain!

Good Stapler and uses Less Effort

Uses less effort than my old one. Looks and feels sturdy. Bought the Optima staples to go with it. Only lack is the ability to open it up to staple things to bulletin board

Sturdy & Easy Press

I have used this for over 6 months now and have never had an issue. Easy to load staples and very easy to press; it has a satisfying punch. I was hesitant about the 20 sheets, but can confirm it does match it's description. However, this will depend on the paper. Less sheets if using thick envelope paper, but 20+ for regular and graph paper.

Easy to use & works

I was so upset when my reduced effort stapler died after 15 years of use. I bought this as a replacement, and am very happy. I’m hoping it will last just as long, if not longer, and I like some features it has vs. my old stapler - it’s easier to load with staples.
