Bulky but good

The vest is of a good design but the canvas is kind of stiff. I read reviews about When wearing the vest you feel the weight on your traps. I can say I have not noticed as maybe because I am a fireman and have been wearing scba packs for years. I do not run or lift weights with it I mostly go on walks and runs stairs It is kind of bulky and you do look like a suicide bomber. But the weights are removable and you can add weights as you progress

To think that professionals from health and fitness design this product to improve your stamina an resistant do not concern about the direct stress and friction fromva vest of 40 pounds will have over your deltoids ( shoulder) and to fix their designed failure try to sell you the comfort pads for $15 to make your pain endurable .( I purchase the pads on Amazon and the color even don't match ) but if you don't want to pay a visit to your qhiropract, then it's the best option. A person who can say that he or she use this vest without padding it the same person who don't need this kind of vest as his body must be common to pain . So please be sure to buy the pads or buy ibuprofen for the pain ....an improved version of this vest should cost maybe $5 more with original shoulder padding. No pain No gain is overrated Good luck

This vest seems pretty durable and I put it through the ringer in training. My only complaint are the straps. I wish it was a little more elastic, so I can fit it around my body tighter when I'm running bleachers, sprints, burpees, etc. All in all, it was worth the money.

Makes it look like a bomb vest

I received a product that looks similar but a little different. Definitely longer than it looks in the photo. Came with obnoxiously long sandbags for weights. Makes it look like a bomb vest.
