Perfect

I had two chairs snd bought this snd another chair. I have since painted the old chairs. We have used these all my life and they are comfortable to sit in without cushions.

Perfect and easy to assemble.

I love this bench. I read where others had trouble assembling, but I can tell you that I put it together by myself, and the only suggestion I have is don’t tighten down everything until you have it assembled. It was a breeze!

Very nice, assemble with a helper

This is a nice thing! It's sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. My husband and I sat in it with room to spare (although we are smallish people, we are both adult-sized) and it looks lovely. The only complaint I have is that it was more difficult to assemble than I expected, taking us a couple of hours from start to finish. Having bought two, I'm confident that the second one will take less time, but I do recommend that you have two sets of hands available when assembling this if at all possible. Very nice, would definitely buy again, but my son did learn some colorful new phrases from our time spent assembling.

Purchased this loveseat to go with two original Bellaire metal chairs from 1946 that I got from my grandma 30 years ago. We'd refurbished in original chairs in primary orange with white arm/leg rails. The green loveseat that also has the white rails looks fabulous alongside the chairs and makes a festive happy seating arrangement. Very nostalgic and ideal with matching thin floral cushions. Delivery fast, assembly better with two people but not difficult. So happy and can recommend with confidence.

Heavy Like the Old Time Chairs

I really expected some flimsy metal chairs and tables but was very pleasantly surprised. These are nice / beefy chairs like the old metal chairs we had when I was growing up. My son in law actually came across some of the old chairs and these are very similar in weight and construction. These are easy to assemble until you come to the last screw. You better have someone around to help at that point. I pride myself on being able to assemble just about everything by myself and could have probably gotten by ... but it is under quite a bit of tension and trying to align the plastic bushing, bolt, washer and nut through 3 holes was just a little more than I could easily do by myself. For 2 person assembly it would be 5 stars.

This is slick

This outdoor chair is so slick! Very pretty in green...like a bright grasshopper. It immediately gets your attention wherever you put it in the garden. I have mine by a koi pond and it is my favorite place to sit and relax. The seats are very deep and wide enough for an average to slightly above average person. The glossy paint job is holding up well (3 months so far) and can be wiped clean with a wet cloth and some detergent. Bird poo and bug goo is easy to remove...no paint chips or dings. I assembled the chairs myself and found it moderately difficult...there are little plastic covers for the bolt heads that were supposed to snap onto them to cover and protect but about half of them were too tight to snap on. Then I got to the last bit of assembly and found that the last bolt would no longer line up with the pre drilled holes. Wow - what a bummer! Fortunately my husband was able to make new holes with his electric drill. That fixed it up but was unfortunate because I had planned to have the chairs all set up when he got home from work but I had to ask for help fixing the issue. It all worked out but I would have given the product a five star rating if the assembly had not caused this problem. Anyway, the chairs are beautiful, functional, and the exact color accent I was looking for. I would buy again but beware if you are not prepared to drill holes during the assembly.

ONE BIG ISSUE

Love the look of it! Minor assembly difficulties for a one person job as my husband wanted to surprise me and have it together when I got home. My biggest disappointment and gripe is that after only having it for 3 days and one rain storm, there is already signs of rusting! This is a big let down! I was planning on keeping this set for at least a few years but at this rate how long will it last? Most of the rusting is around the hardware so if the manufacturer can change out the hardware to something that is rust proof that would be awesome and make the item that much better! I'm going to cover it at night (because of morning dew) and also when it rains. Will also be looking for ways to help prevent further rusting. Would have given 4 or 5 stars if not for rusting.
