Good light show
The media could not be loaded. EDIT: Read to the bottom Buckle up folks. Its review time. Although the LEDs are flexible, the corsair box they arrive in bends the LEDs and gives them a pre-curve, making them not sit nicely on the magnets. The slightest bump or tug on the cords causes the whole thing to cascade down like a comedic curtain drop, except this curtain drop cost you $100. The adhesive magnetic stickies are EXTREMELY strong, and will not come off once placed on without a chemical cleaner. So make sure you put yours in a nice spot. I cleaned the back of my monitor off with alcohol and they are now a part of my monitor's DNA and possibly its future kin's DNA as well. Make sure you place your magnetic strips as close to the end of the LED strip as possible so the unnatural bending can be addressed (this was not in the instructions and should have been). My girlfriend found the curve appealing for some reason, but not so much for me. Also, the wire connectors between the LED strips are rigid, and force the already-strangely-bent LED strips to weirder angles. The LED strips also make noise while on. It kind of sounds like a very quiet chorus of ants caroling from a distance. The pros, however, is that this LED system work very nicely with iCue, and their brightness is not overwhelming. Makes for great backdrop once you start gaming. They look good, and have a wide range of options for colors and styles. I hope you enjoyed my rant-- _------------- WAIT I HAVE MORE. Been using them for a year. Really nice colors. No dead LEDs. They are absolutely incredible for live streamed music. My cats don't really mess with them so that's nice. The band band in the video is Goose. They are incredible. Gave it an extra star because of the Livestream music functionality with iCue. Everything else above still holds.

Awesome IF you understand LS 100 setup-tips to success.
These are beautifully defused and can be controlled easily by iCue software but installing them by the instructions is not advisable if you want great cable management. I did not use the metal plates as I found that the magnets are not very strong and getting them to stay in place was really difficult. The plastic stands containing the magnets pop right off and you can use strong two sided 3m exterior tape to mount them to the monitor or just use two sided tape directly on the plastic stands. I also did not want the controller on the monitor so I just ran an extension(provided in the kit) back towards the center of the monitor to run hidden to the underside of the seat where I mounted the controller. Two important hints, make sure you use the input of the ascending strip as shown in the directions and once you have the unit installed, don’t be alarmed if some of the lights will not light on a 2 channel setup. The instructions say you can have up to 138 leds per channel and 192 for both together. I have two 450 mm and two 250 mm on channel one behind the monitor and another four 450mm on channel two behind my desktop for a total of 192. Three leds would not light until I placed them in lighting channels in iCue. If you are going to try to use these without a computer, you can, your limited to about 188 led’s for some reason. The expectation is that you will fire these up with iCue. They are beautiful but you have to know how to set them up.

These are beautiful
These are beautiful and the perfect addition to my setup. However they don't work well without attaching them to the computer and using the iCUE software. If you plan to get them, make sure that you attach them to your computer and download the Corsair software to configure them. I love that it has a headset holder attachment, finally I have a place to store my headset that is pretty and functional. I ordered 1 more expansion set, because the cable for this set does not reach from one side of my monitors to the other. I wish the cable that attaches the 2 towers was longer. I think the other person who reviewed these did not set them up right or something. I have a headset hanging off one of mine using the included adapter and it doesnt fall over. The tower portion is just as bright on mine as the base, see the photo. Either he has a defective set, or he didnt assemble them correctly. I pick mine up by the tower several times and it does not fall out of the base as he claims. You need to use appropriate pressure to lock them into the base and they work fine. I bought 2 expansion towers as well. Now I have 1 behind each monitor and one on each end of the monitors and I think they are gorgeous! Thanks Corsair!

Good kits, but worth checking exactly what you need
These are tubes of blended RGB LED light sources for affixing to the back of your monitors through adhesive anchors and magnets. However, you should pre-plan what you need for your setup, depending on monitors and where you can route them. The LS100 node can power up to 196 LEDs across both channels, with a limit of 138 per channel. A 450mm strip has 27 LEDs, and a 250mm strip has 15. My setup is as follows: 3 x 450mm strip + 1 250mm strip = (27x3) + (15) = 96 Repeat for channel 2 = 96 + 96 = 192 This entailed checking thee measurements of the different options, measuring my monitors (I use 3, one of them portrait) and seeing how I could link them together without losing space. The kits come with some additional corsair RGB extension cables which are ideal for running between monitors in multi-monitor setups. Applying them is not as easy as I would like; there are adhesive metallic tabs which affix to the back of your monitors, and the LED tubes themselves have four magnetic 'tabs' each which can be slid along their length before magnetically snapping to the metal monitor plates, with a little groove for added security. However, some may be difficult to put on depending on what space is available on your monitor. You may have to have them bend to avoid rear buttons or input areas and the LED tubes cannot bend in a tight turning circle. The adhesive is also not great and I had to put two of them on with tesa powerstrip adhesive tabs to keep it secure, otherwise I was putting it back every couple of days. The LS100 node itself has a similar issue; it has a magnetised back which sticks to two plates that you are meant to stick on the back of your monitor. Unless you have a reasonably large and perfectly flat surface somewhere on the monitor - intended to be in the corner, where one may not exist, it will be insecure and can drop off. My solution was to attack the node to the wall using adhesive strips and start each channel with a corsair extension cable to reach the backs of my monitors. Once applied, though, the lights are powerful and effective and offer a pretty good degree of customisation, although icue's presets do not account for 3 or more monitor setups. I, however, prefer custom or static colour profiles rather than visualisers. Though most promotional images will show them close to the wall, they are effective at a distance. The diffused lights easily reach the 1.1M from the top of my monitor to the ceiling, and the same distance from the back of the monitors to the back wall. Though close distances get a brighter reflection and may better show close-knit changes in colour, the lights are absolutely strong enough to provide coloured room lighting. As a couple of asides, because the LS100 is powered by its own power source rather than the computer, your lights will stay on for approximately 15 seconds after shutting down the computer or putting it to sleep, at which point they will turn off or switch to the hardware lighting you assigned. When under high use - usually white, which engages all 3 RGB LEDs - a very faint 'shimmering' sound can be heard, but it is usually only noticeable immediately after boot when it starts and it will usually just blend in with the sounds of your computer fans.

the daisy chaining is brilliant!
plugged these into my corsair command pro. at first didn't work but then i found out you have to select RGB strip and define 6 LED's. then you can control each LED individually. the best thing is that they daisy chain into each other so you only need to plug one in and then the others plug into the first. the magnets are also very strong and can be moved along the strip.. the strip also comes with sticky fixings too should you need them and a few different length adapters too. the lighting quality is excellent, not too sharp but bright enough to bath your PC in light. best light strips i have used by far.

expensive but functional
these are a needed accessory if you have the rear monitor starter kit .. in my opinion they should have already come with that set seeing how expensive it is these alone cost me 34 GBP and the starter set was 79 GBP that's a lot for what they are but .... they do work and work well the software is good and controls them nicely i did not use the magnetic adhesion pads supplied from experience they don't work well at all i used car number plate double sided sticky pads instead work great very pretty just serious expensive for what they are

The things simply don't stick to your monitor!
The lights are bright enough and easy enough to use, but unless you want to spend every gaming session picking them back up off your desk and trying to re-stick them, stay well clear. I hate the things!
