Pricey but useful

I got this one and the one with the non-removable bottom. I will say the same about this one: the price is high for the quality but the pan is very useful to have. Trust me, I looked hard for some other type of metal stove-save bowl since I don't need this specifically for baking. I really just wanted something that fit into my Ninja Foodi Deluxe 8-quart and this is all I could find. Pros: --It fits well enough that I can remove it without burning the sides of my hands removing it. It even fits into the Ninja's crisper pot with enough room on the sides to safely remove it. -- It works for what it's intended. -- The silicone lid is a nice feature, especially for storing baked goods. --Just as with the pan with the solid base (I got both), this comes with a divider. Cons: --The material is super lightweight and feels a bit cheap, especially for the price. I think the price is just because the name has "Insta" in it... -- The divider is nice but not heavy enough to keep different wet foods from leaking over into the other compartments. I think that it might be enough to hold different cake batters from leaking into each other but not something with a thin liquid. -- While this fits into the Ninja nicely (I have an 8-quart), it does sit low enough that lifting it in and out can be tricky unless you have the remover tongs accessory. (Since I have 2 pans and 2 sets of dividers, I was able to set one pan on top of the extra divider & brought the pan closer to the top and easier to remove it. Overall, if I could have found anything else of metal and the right size to use, I would have gotten it. However, if you want to bake in your machine, this is probably the only way to go.

This is not a true 7" pan, too small for most cheesecake recipes

I bought this pan for making cheesecake in my Instant Pot: #1. it came from the same company as the pot so pretty sure it would fit. #2. it was highly rated #3. the silicone edge on the bottom promised to minimize leakage, which sounded like it might be a problem on the other aluminum pan recommended on several Instant Pot user blogs. #4: the silicone lid sounded like I wouldn't have to use foil on it in the pot and might be handy for storing the cheesecake in the refrigerator, too. #5: some people were upset with having to hand wash the aluminum pan to prevent discoloration. WELL --- It didn't leak, but the directions do say this one should be hand washed,too. The really bad part, though, was that most Instant Pot cheesecake recipes call for 16 oz of cream cheese and then 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sour cream and maybe the same of something for flavoring. I made one of those typical volume recipes and it filled this pan clear to the brim. I laid the silicone lid loosely on top of the pan in place of tin foil, and didn't try to attach it at all. Even so, the cheesecake stuck to the lid and maybe 2% of the filling overflowed into the water below and the top of the cake therefore wasn't even or pretty at all. The lid didn't cause that because it was a lid and it would have happened with tin foil, too. It was just too full. After cooling, the top of the cheesecake did recede a bit and I could store the cheesecake in the frig with the cover sealed. This pan is only 2" high and 6.5" across. The other main brand of pan is 3" high and a full 7" across and would not have had this problem. If you want to make cheesecake with the average on-line Instant Pot cheesecake recipe in your 6 quart Instant Pot, you'd better go with the other pan instead of this one. I guess I will go back to making my cheesecakes in my 8" spring form pan (whose rim just barely keeps it from going into the Instant Pot) in the oven instead.

Awesome for baking in Instant Pot or Air Fryer

This is the perfect size for either my 6 qt pressure cooker or my 5 qt air fryer. However, do not use the lid if using in the air fryer. We made brownies in the air fryer and it didn't cook with the lid on but came out delicious without the lid. I plan to make a cobbler in the instant pot today and tomorrow I am making a large pancake in the air fryer. This little pan is an essential item for anyone that has either appliance. Love that I can bake brownies, large cookies or pancakes, cakes, cobblers, frittatas, etc..in either appliance with this pan. Love the lid for the instant pot. Super easy to clean. Highly recommend!

Smaller than I thought

When I received this, it was quite a bit smaller than I thought. I like how well the bottom fits and that the silicone keeps even thin batters (or butter in my case) from leaking out. The lid isn't amazing, it doesn't stay on well, but having a pressure release flap on the top, along with a way to keep condensation from dripping into it is nice.

Perfect pan!

Love this pan. Easy to use & clean. Cake just popped right out. I tried it with a cake mix first. And with a regular size cake mix you use it twice. It was perfectly spongy and moist. The steam release lid is perfect! I recommend this highly! Update: I like it so much I just bought another. First I will try stacking. If that doesn’t work, I will use two different size racks so I can cook the whole cake at once

Like the Pan. Dislike the Lid

Easy to use with my Instant Pot . I wish the lid stayed on more firmly. It stays on loosely and causes a few issues depending on what you are making (Sometimes the lid has come off). Other than that the pan is lightweight and sturdy.

Such a nice design for not only an instant pot

One thing I wanted to try was cooking in my pressure cooker, and I didn't have the standardised instant pot, was using a Breville. I have found this design great for making one tiny cheesecake, and have used it multiple times since. Thanks for a great product.
